Hi HelixID,

Thanks for helping to look at our charts! We've been together 1.5yrs and have gotten really close & loving in recent months. Any insights as to how our r/s might progress especially the conjunction of pMoon to comp DSC/IC ruler n 2021? The pMoon will also be right on pMC.

Hikaru, I'll focus on the aspects the progressed composite Moon has perfected recently and the planets it applies to in the next months. I can take a look at the rulers, the houses, the symbolism of the signs and planets and try to synthesize it to name some events that might have taken place and that might happen in the next months. You can say if anything of this rings true.

Progressed composite Moon square composite Pluto
This aspect was exact roughly 3 -3.5 months ago. Try to remember if something significant happened in July.
Pluto is your composite H9 ruler and is located in the composite H8.
Did you two or one of you contemplate moving to a foreign country, going back to school or something related to money and a foreign country or even having to deal with legal matters? The square is a stressful aspect so whatever it might have been it could have caused arguments in your relationship.

Progressed composite Moon conjunct Mercury
This aspect was exact this month.
Mercury is your composite Descendant ruler. Have you by chance talked about getting married? It might have also be that you two signed an important contract, like buying a house (Mercury in Cancer).

Progressed composite Moon conjunct composite Sun
The aspect will be exact in around two months.
The Sun is the composite H6 ruler so you might expect something significant to happen that is related to H6 matters (job, every day routine etc.)

Progressed composite Moon conjunct composite Venus
This aspect will be exact in around 6 months.
Venus rules the composite H3 and H8.
I'd expect some kind of message or announcement related to money, maybe an inheritance or any other unexpected windfall. Venus is in the composite H5, the money could also come from playing the lottery/gambling.
The eighth house also describes pregnancy among other things and children are symbolized by the fifth house. Maybe you'll find out that your pregnant by that time.

Progressed composite Moon conjunct Saturn
This aspect will be exact in around 21 months. This is almost two years from now. Saturn is the composite H11 ruler.
H11 stands for friends, social groups, luck. I wouldn't go as far as to predict what might happen in two years.

I could be completely off with everything I wrote but you know your circumstances and life situation better than I do and you'll be able to see the events that are going to unfold are connected to these progressions and the symbolism of the planets, houses and signs.
You could start with the Pluto aspect and you'll probably find something that happened three months ago that aligns with the H8 and H9 symbolism.
Just work with the symbolism and you'll find the answers.
But according to the progressions the next months should be quite eventful for your relationship.

Hi HelixID, thanks so much for this! :-) However, what you have read is for Oct 2021. I'm sorry for confusing you as I was trying to find out what pMoon conjunct pMC means. I've posted our current pComposite below.

I'm not sure what kinda move/money/legal issues we may have but it's hard to say. He has been talking about having a kid but we both know that we're not ready now although it's still a possibility depending on how things develop but we're talking about 2yrs from now... Also I read that cSaturn in 5th house might delay childbirth.

Does pMoon conjunct pMC mean anything?

pComposite Oct 2019

In June we had a fallout but patched back in July and became very close & loving ever since. He also became more invested in the r/s so I considered this a significant phase. pMoon was at 14° Gemini opposing cVesta.

I don't see any other meaningful links between pMoon and the Composite in the coming months unless you consider sextile to cJuno/Lilith in March 2020?

This occurs the same time tNodes will exactly square my natal Vertex. tVenus will also exactly conjunct my natal Juno and then go on to conjunct my natal SN, ASC followed by Venus. For him tNN will exactly conjunct his natal Jupiter (DSC ruler) in his 7th house with tMars/Saturn squaring his natal Vertex. I'm adding natal info should it give you a better picture how it might line up.

Dang, I misread the date.
Looking at your current progressions, the only aspect that stands out is the opposition between progressed composite Moon and composite Neptune that was exact a few months ago and that would align with the fallout you had in June.

You said that you have been together for 1.5 years. So did you get together when the progressed composite Moon was conjunct progressed composite Jupiter?
I had this aspect with my boyfriend when we got together.

Other than that, I don't see any major things happening until the conjunction with Mercury in 2 years. It's nothing bad, it's just that the relationship will stay much the same as it is now.

I have not paid attention to asteroids in any kind of chart reading so I couldn't tell you if those progressions hold any meaning.

I looked at the composite of my friend and her ex when they started their relationship. The progressed composite Moon squared the composite Sun (MC ruler) and was conjunct the composite MC at the start of their relationship.

At the beginning of your relationship the progressed composite Moon aspected the composite MC ruler (Jupiter), too.
It seems that progressions to the composite MC, progressed composite MC or MC ruler signify new beginnings. It could mean that you two go separate ways or that you change the state of your relationship by getting married, for example.

You're right! prog cMoon was exactly conjunct prog cJupiter when we met. 👍

Oh, yes, I didn't notice Jupiter rules cMC. Shortly after pMoon opposed our cMC and we went through a tumultuous time, so I believe contacts to MC/MC ruler triggers a significant phase for the relationship. I'm just surprised that when we patched back in July this year, nothing significant was shown by pMoon.

Anyway, in 2021 pMoon will conjunct cMercury/Sun and you said these bring good tidings, right? And when it conjuncts cVenus it might signify pregnancy... so I supposed the conjunction to pMC should not bring a sudden separation? 😄

Did your friend break up with her ex when pMoon made another contact to their cMC?

Actually when my friend broke up with her then boyfriend the progressed composite Moon was void of course. There was not one exact not even applying aspect at that time. The next aspect was a sextile to composite Uranus but this was 7.5 degrees from exact. All the other aspects had separated months ago.
The progressed composite Moon was in H12 and they had a long and drawn out breakup without either one telling the other "ok, we're done", which makes sense with H12. It was her in the end who said that she wanted to move to another country to try her luck there careerwise. She had an unstable freelancer job at that time and was unhappy in her relationship because from her point of view it had reached a dead end and he wasn't what she wanted in a man ultimately plus she flirted heavily with another man at that time and basically cheated on her boyfriend emotionally. It was an emotionally draining time for her because she was never the type to cheat but she also felt stuck. Moving away she knew he wouldn't follow her since he had graduated only a year before and had landed a really good job where he had been promoted within months of being there, so he had way more to lose than her.

Interestingly, the progressed composite Moon wasn't doing anything but the progressed composite Mars had perfected an exact opposition to the composite Moon.
The composite Moon is their H9 ruler and Mars is their H6 ruler. Jupiter was also applying to an opposition to the Moon but it was 1.5 from exact.
In hindsight I can see that the other guy from the other country (pr Mars and Jupiter) was the catalyst for the breakup she (Moon) had wanted for such a long time but didn't know how to do it.
She moved to another country (H9 ruler Moon) to start a new job (H6 ruler Mars).

It's hard to interpret any chart because each placement, house, aspect can mean so many things. The progressions you two are going to have in two years seem really positive, they are all conjunctions apart from the square with Pluto. This will probably be the most testing progression for your relationship.

One thing I forgot to mention is the fact that the progressed composite Moon is going to change sign in around a year. I remember when my boyfriend and I had this progression I quit my former job and decided to move to my boyfriend's city.
The very day I had given my notice the progressed composite Moon had entered Aries. Two months later the progressed composite Moon opposed composite Mercury (composite IC ruler) exact, that's when I moved in with him.

I don't think that the progressed Moon to progressed MC will bring anything bad. Watch out for the change of sign next year. This should be an exciting time for you.

Oh, I did read that prog composite Moon changing signs signifies a new phase to the relationship. I guess when prog composite Moon changes from Gemini to Cancer it will make us crave more emotional intimacy and become more nurturing, sensitive, attached? Do you feel a significant change of tone to your relationship when your pComp Moon changes signs? Not sure what the square to cPluto might be but all that you mentioned are possibilities. Can this aspect cause a breakup?

I think your moving in with him has a lot to do with the prog composite Moon being opposite your composite IC ruler. And it makes sense for the Aries Moon as you "took action".

Btw, will prog composite Moon conjunct Saturn signify emotional stability or some kinda commitment? Or what will show a serious commitment being made?

I studied a few progressed charts to see the phases of relationships when pMoon change signs and found some interesting things:

My sister-in-law just got pregnant and their progressed composite Moon is in the early degrees of Cancer. She and my brother are also getting ready to move into their new home so the Cancer Moon is really apt. I don't know her ToB so can't tell the house placements but prog cMoon is definitely making a lot of aspects to prog composite and composite planets including a square to cPluto and cMars.

Another friend moved in with her boyfriend when prog cMoon entered Libra coming to a conjunction with Uranus. They started fighting a lot when prog cMoon opposed cMars which led to a major fallout when prog cMoon entered Scorpio. They didn't break up but the r/s became hot/cold, distant and depressive. Now prog cMoon is conjunct prog cDSC which I guess will stable things but six months later, the Scorpio Moon will oppose their prog cSaturn and cSaturn which looks bad?

One more couple friends had their prog cMoon oppose cUranus when they separated. Their divorce has been on hold. Prog cMoon is now squaring cSun/Mercury/Venus and will come to oppose cNeptune in 5 months...I wonder if this will lead to another fallout?
