If anyone has any information on these aspects between two people. I know how it is in the natal but Im just wondering how it would play between two persons depending on the planets involved.I have several quincuxes with a person.. Sun - Saturn Sun - Uranus Moon - Mars Moon - Jupiter Jupiter - Saturn (Both Ways) Jupiter - Uranus (Both Ways) this has made me curious for a while.. I just now ask for some insight. any would be great.. or if you want to just say how your quincuxes with another person has been feel free! IP: Logged |

My (very limited) understanding is that the quincunx in synastry means that there is a need to adjust. I'm paraphrasing what I've read before: There is energy there, but the two planets are a little confused by each other...like 2 people from different countries or cultures. They don't always know what to make of each other, but with respect, understanding and compromise it can lead to growth. As a side note, if you're into Magi astrology, they consider the quincunx what of the "magical angles". Personally, I'm still on the fence about Magi. ------------------ Sun - Capricorn (10th House) Moon - Gemini (2nd House) Mercury - Sagittarius (9th House) Venus - Aquarius (11th House) Mars - Aries (12th House) ASC - Aries IP: Logged |

According to Magi, the quincunxes are enhancing aspects, much like the trines or sextiles, though they require more compromise. This holds true except when the quincunxes involve Saturn. In which case, the quincunx is a stressful aspect much like squares or oppositions. That's according to Magi astrology. IP: Logged |

That IS kinda funny because my SO and I are also from different countries! lol We have: Sun-ASC 2 deg Moon-Mars 1 deg Mars-Vertex 1 deg Saturn-Vertex 0 deg Jupiter-Saturn 1 deg Uranus-Saturn 2 deg Pluto-Venus 1 deg I really didn't think it was LITERAL, but maybe you're onto something there!

Ok, we have...My Uranus/his Saturn My ASC/his Saturn My Moon/his Chiron Damn right my Uranus and ascendant don't get his Saturn! And I think my moon does have difficulty with his Chiron - but it's getting there. Overall it's like these key parts of my personality (ascendant and moon, plus Uranus is in the same sign as my moon) which to me are about freedom, fun and intensity, have a hard time with that overly serious part of himself, ie the fears and the problems. Likewise, those parts of himself struggle with my natural leaning towards those things. Sometimes I feel like the more I compromise and try to understand, my ascendant and moon get more and more sucked into a black hole. Although I think I'm starting to get more understanding in return, which gets me out of Black Hole Land a bit. IP: Logged |

I also have MANY quincunxes with someone sooo special to me, and we're also from different countries.Btw, in karmic astrology its considered as a karmic aspect... so its definetely not an easy aspect, but its quite strong. But unfortunately i not yet know much about them either. IP: Logged |

Hadn't thought to look at quincunx in synastry, although I should cos the man I love has natally sun quicunx moon which seems quite powerful. We have 10 or so quincunxes in our synastry, all under 2deg (most of them exact) but I'm not sure what orb to use for quincunx as its a minor aspect. I have noticed in other forums the quincunx is taken as seriously as the common (ptolemic) aspects IP: Logged |

What does Moon quincunx Saturn mean in synastry? Is it binding like the other hard aspects between Moon and Saturn?IP: Logged |

Oddly, inconjunct relationships and Sign pairings can also indicate very strong attraction, but in that case, it's often more one sided. This is because it has a natural 6th-8th House connotation. The Sign/Planet combo that is acting as the one "capturing the other Planet's in their 8th House" often has a very intense magnetic draw for the other person.I'll do a quick write of up these connections. Strong Aries is attracted to strong Virgo in that 8th House kind of way. Strong Taurus is attracted to strong Libra in that 8th House kind of way. Strong Gemini is attracted to strong Scorpio in that 8th House kind of way. Strong Cancer is attracted to strong Sagittarius in that 8th House kind of way. Strong Leo is attracted to strong Capricorn in that 8th House kind of way. Strong Virgo is attracted to strong Aquarius in that 8th House kind of way. Strong Libra is attracted to strong Pisces in that 8th House kind of way. Strong Scorpio is attracted to strong Aries in that 8th House kind of way. Strong Sagittarius is attracted to strong Taurus in that 8th House kind of way. Strong Capricorn is attracted to strong Gemini in that 8th House kind of way. Strong Aquarius is attracted to strong Cancer in that 8th House kind of way. Strong Pisces is attracted to strong Leo in that 8th House kind of way. It is these patterns more than most that can correspond and correlate with those oh so painful, unrequited "love"/attachment patterns. Because the Sign on the other side is usually a lot more "meh", and at best they try to be of helpful service to the other. Well to some extent, 5th House connections can relate some too to this unrequited, but these tend to be a bit more mutual than the 6th-8th Sign combos. Lighter charts, energies, and charts though, sometimes don't like the feel of these kind of 8th House type patterns. It's too intense, heavy, binding, and/or unconsciously disturbing for them. People with strong Scorpio, Pluto, and/or 8th House tend to LOVE these kinds of connections. IP: Logged |
