Thank you Todd. I do remember you saying this in a natal reading for me. And makes a lot of sense. I do think I have some sensitive or “psychic” abilities. I have some other indicators of that with Pallas conjunct Chiron in the 12th house Sextile both mercury and mars & opposite Saturn making a kite. But do have confusion or mental tension because I can’t always figure out what’s going on. I was wondering if this north node conjunct descendant points out to any life path things like being in a relationship or even being alone (Aqua)? Maybe working with other people? Not sure if this can point out something like that.

Don't believe interpretations about this aspect making the native hard to find long-term partners (yes, I read that!) because someone with this same natal aspect told me he has been married twice!

I thought I would elaborate on the nodal axis on the asc/dsc axis.

theh north and south node are the parameters that define the nodal energy,similar to the postver and negative poles of a magnet. both are on one dimension of mental and psychic energy. so having the nodal axis on the asc/dsc axis gives intelligence and psychic abilities.
the difference between the north and south nodes is that the north node is symbolic of oure consciousness enetering into reality. sotghe north node is pure in the sense that doesn.t have any baggage. the nodes are the pointiof interaction from your consciousness and the other planes of reality such as past life, spirits ,and natural spirits and mental functi9ns of others. so though the nodal enery is paranormal,it is the same energy that mediums and black magicians use to influn4ce your thoughts and actions.

but the north node,brings pure consciousness to the individual . this means that the mind is very intelligent and that the person can reach answers without using logic. that is the psychic function will just bring the correct answer to any question to them effortlessly.

the hsouth node is symbolic of the pure nodal energy affect it has entered and interacted with your consciousness and reality. many thought forms that exist in this medium are picked up my the south node. so with the south node the individuals psychic/mental facilities are influences by these preexisting thought forms. so in addition to your thought and intuition ,the south node is influences by many other thought forms . this is partially why the south node can confuse, there are thought forms that are not necessarily derived y=from you ut senses, while the node tend to bring in a table rasa consciousness, meaning there are not other images or thought forms existent and therefore the thoughts/psychic images of the node are basically a direct function of your consciousness, hence there is not as much confusions.

the other major factor in interpreting the node is the personality structure of the individual.
the nodal energy is "cosmic" in origin.it transcends the personal ego.
the ego more easily identifies the nodal energy as a otherworldly force passing through it.
but with all the enetra thought froms brought by the south node ,the ego more easily can identify with the energy. I mean that if a ego believes that all the "power" coming from the nodal energy is in fact a product of their mind and awareness, without acknowledging the other worldly origin, then the ego becomes selfish and thinks the cosmic energy is them...as this is a false realization, this is why the south node is more often associated with mental confusion that the north node. selfishness and self deception lead to wrong actions and wrong assumptions.
with humility ,the south node on the ascendant does make a excellent writer because they inherently have a large inventories of preexisting thoughts an lines of logic. in this way the south node can give creativity, but again the ego must be kept in check.

the north niode on the ascendant gives a purer and more direct awareness. it give creativity also but is more prone to give knowledge and insghts,whereas the south node tends to give direction ad a larger degree of influence. this is the basic difference between the nodes, the north node leads by truth and inspiration while the south node directly influences and controls by thoughts which might be of a lower form, or selfish.
this is the difference between white magicians (north node) and black magicians (south node).

but always keep mind that nodes are of the same energy and therefore it is not as simple as labelling one black and other white. divinity or decadence can come through either the north or south node.

the nodes position would mean that you have excellent insights to how the social body or others are operating and thinking. so you would have the ability to know others better than they know themselves.
but again as the south node is on your ascendant, then you must always be very careful not to act selfishly or use your understanding of other person for your own means or advancement.
the hardest part of this is to keep your humility and never forget that your sights ultimately are coming from a higher power than your self.
