Please take him at face value, he likes you but he's not ready to settle down and he wants a few more rollercoaster rides first. As for you Uranus conjunct your Mars is the only reason you've been interested in him. You will move on just as quickly and find yourself a more Virgo/Leo type who can be fiery and reliable in love.

He doesn’t really match your 7th either. You want strong Scorpio with Scorpio DSC plus Pluto there. He doesn’t have any of that.
He matches your 5th though, it’s Leo, you have sun in Aries (he’s Aries stellium).

So, since you’re both lacking in each other’s 7th house (which is the most important in terms of attraction, love and commitment/longevity and don’t let anyone else tell you different lol), this isn’t going to last or turn into more than a fling/dating (5th house) and you’re not each other’s “the one”, that’s the 7th

Yeah he is older and seems to be looking for something more serious now. It's frustrating because he texts me everyday and puts in a lot of effort to see me. He even flew back early from a trip he had planned before we met so we could spend time together. So it seems like he genuinely likes me, but then he starts overthinking the relationship and withdraws
