I love it when I see couples who have a descendant-ascendant match. I think it’s sweet. My husband and I have this. I’m a Leo rising/aqua descendant. He’s an aqua rising/Leo descendant. My dad was a Pisces ascendant/Virgo dsc and mom is a Virgo asc/pisc dsc Does anyone have this with your partner? Was it an instant attraction? IP: Logged |

have it with a guy im getting to know and with a friend (with my friend it's exact at 18-degrees on the aries/libra axis and my libra venus and his aries mars are also involved, so is my aries moon; same with the other guy except he's younger than me and his saturn is on my descendant/moon), in both cases there's been sexual tension and all thatmy longest relationship didnt have that though, my ex fiancee has an aquarius ascendant though in placidus both my mercury and sun fell into her 7th house IP: Logged |

I have not experienced it as of yet.. but Im an Aqua rising and looked up Leo rising guys. Not really my cup of tea. So Im not really getting the whole asc/dsc ordeal. It's supposed to be a really good aspect. I seem to be more attracted to Virgo or Aries rising? Virgo is intercepted in my 7th house so I don't know if that has to do with it. I don't see much info on intercepted 7th house. Leo is my descendent at 25 degrees but I don't feel the attraction to Leo traits. I feel it more for Virgo though. Honestly though I don't know the birth times of the guys Ive been attracted to in the past. So maybe I have liked a Leo rising before but don't know it. The guy I like right now is a Libra rising and his rising conjuncts my mars. Load and behold he has a stellium in the 6th house (virgo) ... I just cant get away from that Virgo energy 😫IP: Logged |

I have this with my guy. My ASC in Gemini widely conjunct his DSC in Gemini. We also have IC conjunct MC in an exact orb. Attraction was instant and strong and it creates a strong bond & affinity over time. ASC conjunct DSC means that what the ASC person embodies is ideal to the DSC person and I believe this to be so in our case. Actually as long as you have angles conjunction (no matter which angle), it generates a pull towards each other and this can be romantic or platonic. I also have 4 angles conjunction with an ex-colleague of mine (my ASC conj her MC, my DSC conj her IC, my MC conj her DSC, my IC conj her ASC) all in tight orbs 1-2°. We also clicked instantly even though we don't have much common interests. This same ex-colleague also has ASC-DSC in opposite signs with another friend of ours and they're also very close, so much so that people think they're dating. And I read somewhere that a less potent angles attraction is a couple's ASCs in trine/sextile signs. My mom's Leo ASC trine my dad's Aries ASC. My friend's Taurus ASC trine her ex-husband's Capricorn ASC. It also seems that even if they're not within orb, it generates a special affinity. I know 3 married long-term couples (and that's because I don't know many people's ToBs) with their ASCs in trine/sextile signs but out of orb.

I have this now with someone I am also getting to know.It is, at first a weird feeling of recognition. Then it seems to be a nice affinity over time that is an easy and natural flow I'm beginning to notice. I will ponder more on this dynamic and return IP: Logged |

I have the same feeling, kani. I'm supposed to be the more "talkative" Gemini ASC but he's sometimes more chatty than me. I'm thinking this could be me bringing out the shadow side in him? Maybe I make him wanna talk and talk, lol. Are your angles conjunct? IP: Logged |

They are about 7 degrees apart so not sure if that's a conjunction. I always use 1.20 as his birth time but it might be 10 min later so the angles would be slightly closer. He does have typical Cap traits like wanting to make a good impression in public but generally I feel like Im way more responsible. It might be cause im older though haha. IP: Logged |

Well, astro shows 7° as conjunct and Jewel says as long as the angles are in the same sign, it's counted. Your responsible trait may have come from your other Saturn aspects. IP: Logged |

I have that with the man I have by far the strongest (ever) attraction to. it's in cancer/capricorn. But we also have a lot of other 'classic' attraction aspects, so it's difficult to differentiate which aspects causes the attraction. Having said that I also have that ac/dc conjunction with two very good friends. So I agree with the comment that this causes a strong 'pull' towards each other, be it romantic or platonic.
