Do you find yourself very attracted to people who put planets in your 5th house? Or even the traits of the sign on the cusp?

I find myself greatly attracted to guys who have Cancer placements, which is my 5th house. I always wondered why I like them, but I found out 5th house is an important how for attraction and romance. I didn't know that. Do you guys find yourself also attracted to. planets in the same sign as your 5th house? How significant is it?

In my experience, it’s very significant. Libra rules my fifth house, pretty much can’t imagine dating someone who wasn’t going to court me equally. A lot of my friends have Libra placements as well. My Jupiter is there so all is good in Libra-ville.

5th house is definitely an important attraction house. If someone doesn't touch your 5th, you usually won't even consider a romantic r/s with them. Even if you eventually enter into a r/s with them (maybe they strongly activated your 7th), you will find the sparks lacking... and for me, that will send me running. Don't just look at the sign on the cusp although that is definitely an indication this person is matching you, but also look at the planets in the house and the ruler's sign as some people are attracted to one thing, while others are attracted to other thing(s).

I've Libra on my 5th cusp with Pluto/Uranus in the house. My Venus in Gemini 1H. Definitely I like someone who's charming, polite, graceful and carries himself with style. I absolutely cannot stand people who are loud, rude, unkempt, like to shake their legs... you get the idea. He may or may not have Libra/Gemini in his chart but definitely Venusian traits. I also like intense & passionate partners, nothing superficial and we usually have high level of sexual intimacy. I don't mind my partners being a little possessive (in fact, I like it!) as I'm possessive too (haha). I tend to analyse my partners to death especially at the beginning of the r/s and I somehow can read their intentions very well. Once I begin to trust them, this tendency to psychoanalyse lessens. At the same time, I don't like routine and boring lovers. I like to be always doing interesting things with my partners or shake-up our routine once in awhile.

Great assessment H.

I’ll see what I can add about my 5th house config
Libra 5th house with Jupiter. Ruler of the fifth house is Venus Aries in the 11th (tight opposition between Jupiter and Venus here). attracted to jovial, upfront, lovey-dovey, spontaneous, fair/ethical, adventurous, educated, sincere, stylish, open-high- minded, goofy, non-possessive, child-like, artistic, refined types who value friendship. I’m up for anyone who can handle karaoke. *places order*

^ 🙋‍♀️ I love karaoke! Lol.

Seems like you like strong Aries traits. Do you find yourself attracted to Sag/Jupiter people as well?

My partner has Gemini on the 5th House. It's borderline ridiculous how many Gemini Sun men she has gone on dates with, and how a number of these fall so quickly and easily for her. She brings all the Gemini men to her yard, apparently.

They tend to be more attracted to her than she to them though. Another example that confirms, that in the case of the 5th and 8th, that Neville is correct and that it's usually mostly the Planet person that feels it.

However, many people like being put on a pedestal and fawned over, so there does tend to be some "mutual" attraction back, if only in the ego sense of, "this person makes me feel good about myself" kind of way.

I have found that I tend to be pretty strongly attracted to women with Virgo Rising and who capture my Sun and Merc in their 5th, also because they also often capture my Mars, Jupiter (ruler of the 5th and 8th), and Saturn (faster moving ruler of Sun, Merc., Venus, and Descendant) in their 1st.

1st and 7th tend to be more strongly mutual than 5th and 8th in an innate sense imo/e.

It's a mixed bag for me. Them just putting planets in my 5th house isn't enough, they have to fulfill my 5th house signature as well natally and my 5th house has quite contradictory energies going. I have had a scorpio man interested in me, putting 5 scorpio planets in my 5th house and I felt absolutely zero attraction...because he didnt fulfill any of my other "search criterias". On the other hand, I have had someone only put moon and pluto in my 5th and I was/am absolutely crazy about him. But that's because he fulfills not only my 5th house needs to a t, but is also a match for my 7th and 8th house.

Regarding my 5th house:
I have libra on the cusp of my 5th house and I'm NOT AT ALL attracted to men with libra planets. They could as well be asexual to me. I always put that down to the fact that I have 3 personal planets in my 7th house, so have that 7th house/libra/venusian energy in my natal chart already in abundance, hence don't seek it in others.

The ruler of my libra 5th house is venus in capricorn at the very end of 7th house (astro.com reads it as in the 8th house). My venus is extremely important when it comes to falling in love. If it isn't heavily aspected, I don't fall in love, simple as that. Interestingly, I'm not at all attracted to sun in capricorn men, but find men with venus in capricorn or capricorn ascendant very beautiful and have been in love with men in the past who had either placement.

I have scorpio interecepted in my 5th house. Men I find sexually drawn to tend to be quite plutonic natally. Not necessarily with Scorpio natal placements, but definitely strong pluto.

Also, I have Uranus in my 5th house. Aquarius also takes up most of my 8th house, except for the very first few degrees which are in cappy. And my 5th house ruler venus is square uranus. All the men I have been strongly attracted to have had some kind of uranus signature. Either in terms of aquarius natal placements or strong uranus placements (uranus in the 1st hour or venus opposite uranus) or/and uranus just figured very heavily in our synastry. With the last guy my sun, mercury AND venus conjuncted his uranus. His uranus was also in his 1st house natally and his ascendant ruler was in aquarius. He also was a moon in scorpio and capricorn ascendant. So he was an all around perfect fit in terms of my 5th house search criterias AND our synastry aspects further fulfilled my 5th house relatioship needs.

I have a question.

What about if your 5th house cusp has Saturn smack on top of it? Does it change anything?

I have been having crushes on my 8th house like Hard though, but nothing from them back.

I was with a guy who had his Venus, Mercury and Mars in my 5H. His My Sun was in his 5H.

My Mars was in his 8H.

I had no emotional connection with him, but boy did I sure enjoy having sex with him!! He was mad at me when I called it off!

He was a stunning specimen to me! 6'2 tall, built well and had that lumbar jack look. He was the epitome of a HOT tradie

I don't have any planets in my 5th house, but the ruler of my 5th house is my moon, it's in Aqua but I don't really like Aquarius traits too much, but my moon is in the 12th house, I noticed a lot of my crushes also have Pisces placements. My two high school crushes, one was a Pisces sun, the other a Pisces moon, and now I like a guy who is a Pisces moon, mars, and Jupiter. Hmm I don't know I find it weird that Im a Pisces myself and am drawn to other Pisces as well.. 🤔 but I think Cancer takes the cake, because they have some things I lack, since I have no Cancer influence and that energy really gets me to open up and be comfortable.
Im not sure if the house the ruling planet is in influences this as well but if it does I suppose it makes sense lol

Im with you on not liking routine. I really don't like routine! I literally feel my mood suppress when Im in a routine.

Yes I agree, I think it's important to have some more added to having planets in the 5th house. Like for me, I think the reason the 5th house alone is pretty strong for me is because since it's in Cancer, odds are if someone puts their planets in my 5th house it will trine my Pisces Sun and Venus (My 7th and 8th house rulers) so it can almost me like killing 3 birds with one stone. Other wise I think if a guy has like one or two planets in Cancer but doesn't trine my Sun snd Venus I don't have that much of a connection. But sometimes it's enough tor really admire them. I just really like the sign Cancer for some reason.

Oh snap I thought it was the other way around the house person felt it more.
My guy has my Aqua stellium in his 5th house, I was hoping it would give me a boost in attracting him lol but my planets are aspecting his 7th and 8th house as well. I feel like the 7th house is not that mutual though.

With someone I have

My Asc, Moon, Mars and Pluto in his 4H
My Sun, Mercury, Saturn, Uranus in his 5H

His Venus and Pluto in my 1H
His Mars and Jupiter in my 5H

We don't activate each others 7th or 8th with personal planets (only my NN in his 8th, my MC in his 1st and his MC in my 7th)

What kind of energy would these placements alone create between us? Who would be more affected?

Sag 23 is my 5th House cusp with ruler Jupiter at 29 Sag my Kite tail opp 11H Gemini Moon-Uranus at Kite head. First wife has Sag Sun conj Venus in my 4th House and early Cap Mercury in my 5th House. Best Sexualove ever!

My Leo rising Mars stellium is powerfully attracted to Leo inner planets in my 1H. Long term co-residential lover had Leo Sun sextile my 11H Moon and trine my 5H Jupiter; her Aqua Moon in my 7H trine my 11H Moon, conj Uranus ruler of my 7th House.

My fave dream mate (8/17/87) has Sun, Venus, Mercury, Mars in last third of Leo and my 1st House trine my 9H Aries Sun and 5H Jupiter.

Is it really just about the sign there? Mine is in 5th house cusp of Leo.

I like guys with integrity, heart & who carry themselves with dignity & self assuredness. Guys who aren't afraid to be themselves

There has to be something "fixed" in the personality. Like some overarching consistency etc.

I have yet to date Leo's per se though. But I think it's more the "essence" that the 5th house cusp sign suggests more than the actual sign itself? An energy thing?

Interestingly, my best friend has North node in Leo.Whilst another close one has Leo Moon. Both have Aqu influence;Sun/Asc respectively.

It probably depends more on what aspects the synastry charts forms rather than a certain house's effect being general for everyone.

My 5th house, if I remember correctly, is Cap and I'm not really a fan of Caps. They are ok to me, mature but kind of cold. I have an Aries stellium, Caps may not like me much as well.

On the other hand, my composites often shows Cap or Cancer signs specially because I seem to run into Libras and Scorpios. Cancers are often friends.

Yes, I think it is an energy thing. 5th House cusp is roughly trine the Ascendant and sextile the 7th House cusp in Placidus System (exactly in Equal House System).

"Interestingly, my best friend has North node in Leo, whilst another close one has Leo Moon. Both have Aqu influence;Sun/Asc respectively."

Your best friend's Leo N. Node in your 5H also has S. Node in your 11H of Friends.

Im with you on not liking routine. I really don't like routine! I literally feel my mood suppress when Im in a routine.

It's funny like that... different people are attracted to different things shown through our r/s houses. So you're attracted to where your ruler is placed (Moon in 12th) but you also dislike routine so that's very Uranian/Aquarius. This person may not have Aqua planets but he will have Uranian traits (Uranus aspecting Sun/ASC or Uranus being the most aspected planet or totally unaspected). However, if you say you're mostly attracted to strong Cancerian (this can also be people with strong Moon placement), then I supposed you won't like people TOO Uranian as I see these 2 as conflicting - one wants closeness & security while the other wants space & independence.

I'm not usually attracted to the signs shown by rulers or house placements, e.g. my 5th ruler in Gemini 1H, 7th ruler in Aries 11H and 8th ruler in Cancer 2H. Other than Cancerians repeatedly showing up in my relationships (and that's because I also have a 7H Moon), I don't seemed to have special attraction to guys with planets in Gemini/Aries/Aquarius/Taurus other than my ex who has a Gemini Moon.

Rather, I've been attracted to signs on my cusps and the collective "traits" shown by those houses, e.g. my current guy has a Libra Moon (my 5th cusp) and Sag rising (my 7th cusp) and my ex has a Sag Sun/Mercury. Also, curiously I've been attracting Virgos as well, which is my IC. As for the other traits, I like guys who will boldly chase me (Aries/1H). I get really turned on when my guy tells me "I want you.. you're mine". I also like my guy to be intelligent, communicative, fun, have a sense of humour (Gemini), be able to mingle with my social groups (11H) and is financially stable/secured (2H).

It's a mixed bag.
