Hi everyone!

I just recently made an account here and I have been wondering a few things about my synastry with my boyfriend.

In the beginning of the relationship he was all over me and I kind of took it for granted. I broke it off for no less than 2 months and then we got back together after he made me realize that it just makes sense that we be together.

Ever since then it's like the tables have turned and now I'm the one all over him, and not that he isn't giving me any love back, I just wish it was more.

We have a long distance relationship as he is on the other side of the country for school, but we talk everyday. I know he isn't cheating and that he feels the same for me because we just have strong relationship and can easily share our thoughts to one another. We're high school sweethearts (we got together at the end of senior year but I've known him as like a father figure LOL since 8th grade bc I could always talk to him about my problems) and we've been together for just about 2 years now.

Tl;Dr What makes me so... obsessed with him? Also if you have any other readings about our synastry I'd love to hear them !

Blue = me Red = him

Edit: Sorry I don't know how to paste the image directly onto the post, but below is our Composite Chart

Hi CrazyPisces,

your bond is emotionally very strong, apparently almost unbreakable, and obsessed feelings are mutual with Pluto opposite Moon in synastry and Composite Pluto conjunct Chiron. These are intense, almost painful feelings since Chiron is involved in DW conjunction with Pluto in synastry. Especially the fear to lose the loved one might be constantly there, and this is given by both your natal Pluto/Chiron, so its a deep subconscious fear and the need to be constantly reassured by the other...
There is also though a strong element of instability given by Composite Uranus in 2nd house square Saturn... in synastry, this element is given by your Uranus conjunction square to his MC, so this suggests a physical distance might be given by his activities or profession.
So the Composite shows that there is this intense bond felt like true deep love, but it seems that earthly circumstances are not giving enough ground to the relationship, and so a lot of insecurities arise for the future. This instability is given especially from Composite NN and Neptune square MC. Basically what I see here is that this deep intese love is being challenged by circumstances and distance in an underlying way, and this is a big trial your relationship will have to go through.

Thank you so much for your reply Stoika7!

This actually makes a lot of sense because when I told my bf about my feelings he told me it was exactly what he felt in the beginning of our relationship before I made us take a 'break'.

If you don't mind me asking, how are you able to see we have a strong bond?

You are welcome!

In Composite, you have a Stellium with Sun conjunct Saturn, Venus and Jupiter in 4th house trine to ASC and with Moon conjunct IC, so your bond is strongly felt like "family", even though Saturn in this house might actually challenge the closeness. Also, Pluto conjunct Chiron is extremely binding and karmic.

First, your Moon is closely opposite his Pluto (among other aspects). That is one in which emotional balance will be a challenge to find. It tends to be more comfortable so long as one partner has the dominant role as you mentioned earlier in your relationship with him as the older 'father figure.' But when there is expectation of reciprocal sexualized affection it brings out the underlying potential intensity and obsessiveness. With your Moon in Gemini and his Pluto in Sagittarius these mutable signs contribute an alternating dynamic more obvious from then on.

It takes some life experience and willingness to be responsible for your own moods and feelings to deal with these hard Pluto aspect in a healthy way.

Otherwise, there are some good features to this synastry. Your Moon is sextile his Venus and trine his Neptune. It is close enough to his Jupiter to probabably be a functioning conjunction.

Your Venus quincunx his Sun indicates you'll probably have to adjust your expectations about the relationship, not that it cannot further develop, but just be flexible. Especially with your Venus closely square his Saturn. That is even more an aspect in which one (his Saturn) is the older or more experienced/reluctant person, less likely to reciprocate in the way you do (Venus).

Your Saturn is also square his Venus, so this relationship is most likely to play a limited role in both your lives.

The relationship is not what you think it is or would prefer it to be. Neptune in the middle third of Pisces the last couple years has been finishing up its square to your natal Moon and his Pluto; edging into conjunction to your natal Sun in Pisces.

Consider it a learning experience in which feelings and desires within you have been able to surface more. You're both young. Try not to put expectations on him or yourself at this age. I think you opened up to someone you felt is safe, or at least in a safe way -- at a distance. Looking at the Lunar Nodes of both your charts I'd say it definitely has its benefits, as planetary aspects to each other's Lunar Nodes show the chance for mutual positive growth by your association.

I see, thank you for your insight!

Personally I hope the foreshadowing of this relationship isn't limited, but we'll figure that along the way . I'll have to look more into those aspect you mentioned though
