I have read a few times, and only on this forum, that Saturn overlays in water houses indicates a soulmate. I have not been able to find anything else on the net about this. Why would this indicate a soulmate connection? I dont get it? At all! How does the planet of restriction show a soulmate?? IP: Logged |

Good question. I'm no help, but my I am curious. My Saturn is in his Pisces 12th house, and his Saturn is in my Scorpio 5th house.IP: Logged |

It doesn't, that's nonsense. Finding a soulmate is so much more complicated than that. A single aspect won't point you to a soulmate. Imagine how ridiculous that would be? It'd mean that about 16.5% of the human population, 33% if you're bi, is your soulmate. IP: Logged |

I get the feeling that soulmate relationships will show a number of aspects that simply makes you wow. Tight, exact aspects, double wammies, you name it. And the more you look for, the more crazy unique patterns you’d find. And these are not really found in any other charts. For example, with my husband we have opposed ACs, and our Boda, Groom, Briede and Union asteroids matched in patterns as if complementary puzzle pieces. There are some other things, like name asteroids, stuffs falling on each other’s Sun/Moon midpoints, our composite aspects aspecing each of our Sun/Moon mp, and many more that I can’t fully recall. To me soulmates aren’t necessarily the one, rather a couple that means a lot to each other even if not forever. As the chart aspects unravels, you’d discover more and more wow aspecs, and this doesn’t really happen commonly in other charts you look at. Even in progression charts, the synastry showed each of our ACs going through natal Venus/Mars. IP: Logged |

Most of us have many soulmates. Individuals that are part of our Soul group. Many are our closer friends in our physical incarnation(s). Some show up as "karmic romantic partners" and sometimes are only in our lives temporarily, though they of course can be long term as well. (Such as Edgar Cayce and his karmic Soulmate who he married, Gertrude Evans Cayce). Twin Souls is a different issue, and a little more intense in nature because the connection goes so deep and is so connective in nature. Chart comparisons between these do indeed tend to be unusual and unusually multi-leveled connective. It's like they are often connected at all centers/glands/"chakras", which gets reflected in astrology in certain patterns. Opposite and same Sign patterns between different, important symbols show up a lot, such as Sun opposite or same Sign as partner's Moon, Rising, chart ruler, and/or Venus. Or Moon opposite or same Sign as the other's Rising, chart ruler, Venus, Nodes, etc. If romantic oriented often a lot of connections between each others 1st, 4th, 5th, 7th, and 8th Houses with each others respective 1st, 4th, 5th, 7th, and/or 8th Houses either directly and/or with the rulers, and again, especially with opposite and same Signs involved.
