What couples or friendships do you notice that are not supposed to be compatible, but work? I have seen a lot of Aqua and Scorpio couples as well as Aqua and Cancer couples. I think Taurus and Leo can work well for friendship. IP: Logged |

Do you mean sun signs or the ideal zodiac sign? It's hard to tell when we know how a aquarius sun or moon can be different from a 'pure' auqrius textbook due to planets and interaspects. IP: Logged |

I'm a Taurus who dated a Leo and our Moons were even compatible and it still didn't work. I think it's more to it than just the Moon signs.

I’m not too sure about compatibility vs. incompatibility, but as far as Scorpio and Aquarius go, i think they have a whole lot more in common than most give credit for. They’re very similar IMO! However I also think just because they are so similar doesn’t mean they’re always “compatible”IP: Logged |

Scorpio and Aquarius? I don't see it Aquarius is freedom-loving. Scorpios are passionate and intense I don't see how these two are compatible. Aquarius wouldn't be passionate enough for Scorpio.IP: Logged |

I am Aquarius and I have married a Scorpio :-) I'm Taurus Moon and he's Virgo Moon, I also am Pisces ASC and he's Virgo ASC. His Saturn is conjunct my NN. We've always been good friends but it was never really the big passion between us, we got along for being two peaceful persons and for caring a lot for each other, but we also are very different and our main life goals never really matched... most of the time I never felt he understood me and he never felt I understood him... lots of disagreements also in daily little matters... what kept us together for almost 20 years was mainly supporting each other and friendship. I agree! I think ultimately that’s what would break a pair up, if anything were to at all. Honestly I feel the way they view and process the world is very similar. Scorpios (in my humble opinion) are VERY mental (air-like); ALWAYS taking in their surroundings, with the ability to logically assess and dissect it all; but unlike Aquarius (at least I believe so), they also instantly “assign” emotions to what they’ve experienced and therefore “categorize” experiences, etc. through their emotions. Where as I feel like Aquarius also easily walks into a room and is able to quickly assess and dissect the environment logically and leaves it at that. It’s all categorized more “tangibly”, if that makes sense? They’re also both all about pushing limits (and any limits for Scorpio, not just sexual) as well as both having very high expectations for the world and those that live in it. I know they can be very different as well, but the more I’ve read about both (being a Scorpio with aqua rising myself), I’ve realized that qualities I used to attribute to one or the other actually exists in both! I’ve dated a few aqua suns and in the end it’s always been a case of where we should have remained friends :/ we’re just too damn emotionally needy for them lol. I’m not bitter over it though! I love aqua energy! Well usually only when they’re comfortable enough in themselves to be the “normal weirdo” rather than the “weirdo weirdo” (?) 😂😂😂 IP: Logged |

It didn’t work even though you had compatible Moon signs. I guess that proves that there are other things that are more important in synastry than just having compatible Moons. IP: Logged |

Hi Pluviophile123, I was actually the one more emotionally needy while he was colder, maybe cause of my Pisces ASC and my Aries Mars, while he has most of his planets in Virgo which, I think, made his Scorpio nature less emotional and less passionate... but in our case it wasnt just that, it was a core difference in our life goals and communication. I do understand what you say though, cause the Aqua and Scorpio emotional world is very different... in my own experience, Aquarius needs more fire elements in a partner to light up their emotions, than water :-) IP: Logged |

I dated a Leo Sun with Gemini Moon. And our Moons are compatible but I didn’t feel real love with him. He has Venus in Leo and I’m Venus in Pisces. We didn’t have compatible Venus or Mars signs. I’m glad I got out of that relationship. I need someone who’s Venus and Mars are compatible with mine. I think I’d rather have that than compatible Moon signs. IP: Logged |

@CoV, Moon signs show emotional compatibility. It doesn't show life goals. My bestie and I both have Sag Moon but we're polar opposites when it comes to how we run our own lives. We feel and process things the same way... that's what compatible Moons are about. While it doesn't guarantee a r/s success, it's still an important aspect of compatibility. Take stoika's example, she did stay with her ex for 20yrs and she said they got along peacefully. That proves the effect of compatible Moons. The lack of passion would be something else. IMO that would be Venus/Mars, not necessarily in aspect to each other. Back to this thread... I find squares between fixed signs harder to navigate if you don't have other supporting factors because fixed signs have a common factor - stubborn. I've ALL the fixed signs in my family (lol). My mom is Leo, my dad is Scorpio but they have Moon in sextile signs, Moon trine Sun and ASC trine ASC. I believe these help keep them together but they're very very different in character.

Actually I agree. I notice this pairing seems to be together often? I myself have a stellium in Aquarius, which includes my moon, and the guy I like has 3 planets in Scorpio, Venus, Mercury, and Pluto, and his Pluto and Venus square my moon. It made me wonder if we could work out. Add on the fact that I also have a Pisces stellium, as does he, as well a Sag stellium, all in which tightly aspect my stellium. So it's pretty crazy synastry, since we both have stelliums. But I think there is a draw between them Aqua and Scorpio more than people give credit for, so I agree. There are quite a lot of similarities. I think Scorpio can be compatible with Aquarius if they have other aspects that can work. Like for me I don't find him too emotional for me at all. And despite being the one with Aqua, I am actually quite emotional and love romance. The thing with Scorpio that turns me off though is that they can be way too dark, which I find scary 😅 so when they have other aspects that soften it I can see it working. Well at least I am hoping so, wishful thinking lol

Do you think houses can have something to do with the compatibility as well? like say an Aqua has their Aqua planets in a water house, that can add to good compatibly with a Scorpio? IP: Logged |
