My last "obsession" concerns pholus in the synastry. I was wondering how to interpret these connections:- His Pholus is conjunct to my MC (1°) - My Pholus is conjunct to his priapus (1°) Regarding the conjunction with my MC I think it may concern the change of the social status aspirations and public reputation. In this case also his saturn is conjuct to my MC. What do you think? I don't know how interpret that pholus-priapus. It's possible that his life-changing event is related to physical attraction and desire towards me?

What source are you using for "life changing event"? PHOLUS (5145)
The name ‘Pholis' means “snake-like” and therefore connects to his role in healing, kundalini and augury. Pholus is generally seen as one of the kinder-hearted centaurs, and his themes include: divination, wisdom, sacred wine (my personal feeling is this includes entheogens like Ayahuasca, San Pedro, etc.), altered states of consciousness (possibly Shamanic states of consciousness?), homeopathy, consulting an oracle, kundalini, reclaiming innocence, transformation. http://straightwoo.com/2016/05/24/centaurs-astrology-chiron-pholus-nessus/ IP: Logged |

I've always seen pholus referenced as something that points to life-changing things/things that can't be undone. I'm fairly certain that, in the chiron myth, pholus' wine is kind of the catalyst/thing that sets off the rest of the events that eventually lead to chiron being hit with the poison arrow. zane stein has an entire page on pholus: https://www.zanestein.com/pholus.htm In my longest relationship (5 years), my ex's sun conjuncted my pholus by <1°. His Pholus didn't make any conjunctions to any planets of mine (though it did conjunct one of my name asteroids), but it made an exact sextile to my moon (bucket handle of my chart) and an exact sextile to my mercury (which is the midpoint of my first-house stellium) as well as a conjunction to my moon|mercury and moon|venus midpoints. The myth about pholus wine made me laugh a lot because I met this person at a beer tasting .. I just hope I won't end up like Chiron because I'm not immortal! XD
