When you have the venus square ascendant aspect in synastry - is there any cases where the venus (as the male) likes the ascendant ?

When I have been the venus (female) I didn’t like the appearance of the ascendant to start with, then I did, however one of their features always bugged me big time.

Then I have been the ascendant twice and I could never understand why the venus (male) was so attracted to me physically. I thought with this aspect and the synastry chart not being great - they would not find me attractive.

Has anyone else ever experienced this aspect ?
