Hi All,

How important is it when two people have so many similar aspects in their natal charts?

I noticed that a friend and I have many similar aspects in our respective natal charts - to the point that it really caught my attention. I made a side by side list of our similar aspects, and it turned out to be a lot longer than I thought.

Below is the list of aspects we share as well as each of our aspect charts.

I'm not sure what I'm trying to ask, but does the similarities between our two natal charts mean anything? It seems like it would be important, but I'm not sure...

My Natal:

I think they can be a part of a pattern, yes.

I'm curious where your Pallas is and if it's strongly in aspect.

I seem to have the ability with patterns also.

My Pallas is in Pisces close to my Juno.

My Pallas is in 10th house Aries, unaspected except for a 2 degree square to my ASC and Jupiter.

Result: 6470 days

This is why I think the similarities are so interesting.

That's very close to the Saros cycle.

"...approximately 6585.3211 days, or 18 years, 11 days, 8 hours..."

That is SO interesting, and it explains why there are so many similarities between the charts.

So what does that do for compatibility (other than it makes synastric hard aspects easier to deal with considering both parties have them natally)?

Just to let you know I haven't forgotten about you.

It simply means you have similar traits. For e.g. Moon square Venus - conflicts in your love & emotional nature and you may give in to others too easily in order to maintain harmony. But you have to also take into account signs and house placements. I believe the Libra Moon will be better at acquiescing than the Cap Moon.

So it would seem to me that hard aspects in synastry charts would be easier to deal with by people who are already used to dealing with that energy on a personal level. For example, two people with hard natal aspects would have an easier time with hard synastry aspects than two people who have mostly soft aspects in their natal chart.

Right?

Right?

That's what they say but I'm not entirely sure. I've a Mars/Moon/Venus t-square and any personal planets on these points don't work for me. The only one that has worked so far is if they've a personal planet that turns my t-square into a grand cross.
