I'm pretty sure we all love looking at synastry aspects of potential partners in the early stages of dating. Anyone else have the challenge of finding out someone's birthdate without making it sound weird? How do y'all ask, or look it up? Do you wait a certain amount of time before asking or do you use Google?IP: Logged |

I just thought about it yesterday without thinking about someone in particular. I'd ask them about their ascendant and if they didn't know it I'd tell them it's very simple to find it if they knew the TOB. If they did know it, I would still ask them about their TOB. IP: Logged |

Just ask them their birthday. You can use pendulums/divination rods to figure out someone's ascendant. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2ZCQQj44Ck IP: Logged |

Just ask when their birthday is. To me it's very important knowing when a potential partner is born so I'd ask pretty soon if their info is not available online. I ask acquaintances online all the time actually and they usually tell me without thinking it's weird to ask. So it makes even more sense to get to know the person you are dating and when their birthday is, right? Then talk a little about astrology in general and ask if they know their ascendant and their time of birth. You could even say something silly like, I'm not a morning person, probably because I was born in the afternoon, how about you - what time of the day were you born? If they seem judgmental about the astrology topic then they're probably not the person for you. Your person would at the very least support your passions. IP: Logged |

What I do is if we are friends in any capacity, I ask their birthday and time of birth with the excuse that I’m a pretty intense friend and I like to send happy birthday messages on their actual time of birth. I try to make it seem cute and quirky, but also that I’m an amazing friend. I actually do this then and people think it’s sweet. Asking people where they’re from or where they were born is a lot less weird, which I ask in a separate conversation. IP: Logged |

Most people know their 'zodiac sign'-- just ask.If they answer then, say, Wow, .. 'what DAY'? If they give you the day, and you know the zodiac, you can figure out the Sun. With that 'simple' information, you can go to your own chart www.astro.com and change the transit day to THEIR birthday. You can ballpark the kinds of aspects you have with them, by just that info. If they were open to that--- For time, you can ask if they were born in the day, or night? From there, you can grow more specific with them. Sometimes sharing your OWN information with them can prompt them to share the same with you. Same kind of tactics apply for their 'place' of birth. As far as doing internet searches, at times if you get good (or clever) at your searching, you can find the birthday and age. From there, you figure out the year. Make sure you don't rely on just ONE source. Keep searching, and have it validated by seeing same info on different site. RE "sounding creepy"? … That's 'you'... ARE you being 'creepy'?? or actually interested in the art and science of astrology? Like Vansio said-- Ask with confidence, not creepiness! Others are curious about themselves (usually). If you find resistance, then, 'what' are you dating them for? Would you really want to be with someone who 'resists' you? Wouldn't you want to be with someone who is open to share your core interests and passions (if astrology is an important part of your life)? Have Fun! and good luck Hope you find someone perfect "just for you" IP: Logged |

^^This, but I usually just ask. Some facebook profiles will have the birth date at the bottom of the page, if they haven't set it to private. Or you can see "happy birthday" posts, as Dual and Mirage suggested. IP: Logged |

There is a creepy way, but without asking: open courts and deed records. That’s thinking like a data scientist😉IP: Logged |
