Topic: How strong of the attraction of Venus on AC (synastry)

Hi,
I want to knwo how strong of the Venus on AC compare to those venus-mars or venus to outerplanets (uranus, neptune,pluto).
(strong- feel it intensely, or have big impact in your relationship)Have you any experiences?
I read from many forum that the AC person will feel the attraction more than the venus person? Is this true? Thank you  IP: Logged |

true, I'm the ASC person and felt it more. In my case he had his both Mars and Venus on my ASC.I think it's stronger than Mars-Venus conjunction. But that's my opinion. IP: Logged |

I'm currently in a relationship where my Venus and Mars are trine their ACS. I also have my Mars SQ their Venus. I'd have to say that they definitely feel it more.IP: Logged |

Anyone's Venus who conjunct my Asc doesn't hit me hard as described. The intensity isn't there. I feel the planets energy but it is usually platonic for me. Same with Mars. But the for the planet person they had a crush on me at some point.I think it could be the natal planets make several aspects to my ASC. (Trine Pluto and Jupiter, opposite Neptune, square Sun). I think Venus opposition Asc would be powerfully felt by asc person as it will conjunct his or her Desc at the same time. IP: Logged |

Venus is very attracted to the ASC person.
ASC is appoint, it is not a planet and does not emit energy, it receives energy immediately, however.IP: Logged |

IMO it first has to depend on whether you're romantically attracted to this person. My Venus conjunct a friend's ASC and I don't find him the least bit attractive. 🙅 But if you're attracted to this person romantically, then this aspect will greatly enhance it.IP: Logged |

In my experience I have not been overwhelmingly attracted to people whose ASC was conjunct my Venus (which is just barely in Taurus and often gives out-of-sign conjunctions to Aries placements). HOWEVER, I just doublechecked and my longest relationship (3-4 years long) prior to my marriage was to someone whose ASC was conjunct my Venus! Of course there are other factors, and I don't think our Venus-ASC conjunction was the strongest influence in our attraction, but it certainly helped smooth out potential conflicts. I have two platonic friends whose ascendants also conjunct my Venus and I definitely have always felt warmly towards them in spite of disliking certain things about them. It's almost like the Venus-ASC conjunction helps me overlook my misgivings or what I perceive as flaws. So I'd have to conclude, based solely on my own experience, that a Venus-ASC conjunction helps "smooth things over" and Venus acts almost like a soft Jupiter, giving generous acceptance and an element of diplomacy, if that makes sense. But I'm not sure how much of that has to do with the sign (Taurus) in this case. I wonder if others have a similar experience if their Venus is in, say, Aries or Aquarius. ------------------

As far as "strength" comparison to Venus-Mars or Venus-outer planets I think it would depend on how tight the orb is more than anything. An exact Venus-ASC conjunction should theoretically "outweigh" a 5-degree Venus-Pluto conjunction, for instance - and vice versa.However in my experience I've found Venus-Mars, and even Venus-Venus and Mars-Mars conjunctions to be more compelling on a sexual level. Perhaps Venus-ASC has more to do with accepting someone's outer/social personality while Venus-Mars is more about pursuer-pursued, and is thus more sexually charged. IP: Logged |

I did a tally and realised that the people I notice as very attractive (appearance-wise and not necessarily sexually) have an Asc that conjunct my Sun or Moon (or their rulers) moreso than my Venus. This is regardless of genders.Also, if their Asc is the same as mine (Leo). But that just might be the notorious Leo narcissism working...😳 My Sun is in Tau, Moon in Gem so I find a lot of men/women with Tau or Gem Asc really attractive. I also seem to really like the looks of Libra and Virgo Asc (since Libra like Tau is also ruled by Venus, Vir like Gem by Merc). My Venus is in Can and the only person I have found to be very beautiful with a Can Asc is Angelina Jolie, haha.
