This is him: http://i.imgur.com/MLLoY8E.png After a long time of studying this synastry I just noticed that we have the same houses intercepted, 1 and 7, the axis of ego and relationships. AAAAAND furthermore, his signs on the 1-7 axis are the reverse of mine. Carol Rushman wrote something about this:
"I've seen people have long-standing relationships with partners whose signs on the first and seventh axis are the reverse of theirs. For example, a person with Cancer rising and Capricorn on the seventh would be very tied to a person with Capricorn rising and Cancer on the seventh house cusp. These two signs are an astrological pair, together they form a complete unit, a whole. Their charts are in sync, as is their approach to life. It's very hard to break this type of tie. I hope it's as good as what Rushman says because my ASC conj my guy's DSC. Not sure about signs that are not conjunct but I'm sure there's strong affinity as the ASC person represents the DSC person's ideal. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DB2r0Z3LehA IP: Logged |

Interesting...what are the signs on your ASC/DSC?
Would you mind to describe me some of the dynamics of your relationship that could be playing out as a result of this aspect?

Ours is Gemini-Sagittarius. This aspect basically shows that the ASC person (the face they put out to the world) is matching the ideal type for the DSC person. Of course this does not mean you don't need anything else. If you have other strengthening aspects, e.g. planets in your 7H being aspected or your 7th ruler being aspected, it will enhance this. My 1H Venus also conjunct his DSC and my 7H Moon/Neptune conjunct his ASC. He has 1H Neptune conjunct my DSC so these made our attraction a very strong one right from the beginning. IP: Logged |

Ours is Gemini - Sagittarius too.
I can totally vouch for the magnetic pull since the very beginning, like "we have to be together no matter what". Maybe this is a consequence of this peculiar combination involving the angles.
His 7H is ruled by Jupiter since it is in Sag, and my 1H is ruled by Jupiter since I am Sag rising.
His 1H is Mercurial since he is Gemini rising, as my 7H is as I have 7H in Gemini. IP: Logged |

Yes, we also felt the magnetic pull and it was instant which proves that the angles don't have to be close (ours is at 7° orb). Some people seemed to find the other angles i.e. ASC-IC/MC, DSC-IC/MC a stronger pull though. I've not experienced those in a romantic rs so I'm not sure. Then again, in Vedic they also talked about the ASC-DSC attraction so I'd like to believe this as a stronger contact. IP: Logged |
