One of the strongest aspects between me and my boyfriend is his Sun square my Venus. Reverse my Sun/Moon is sextile his Venus.

We are happy, but one problem with us is differences in how we express love and affection, at least partly. I’ve often not been sure of him, even if he does things that feels like love.
Maybe this isn’t so uncommon between men and women.

But what’s your experience with those squares? My Venus is Sag and his Sun is Virgo. And I can be more light on my verbal expressions of love and affection. For him a serious big deal, and freaks out talking about it.
But I’m wondering if I don’t have the love expression he’d want. But he would never say that. But we are always touching each other.

My Gemini Venus and Sag Moon both square my boyfriend's Virgo Sun.

My guy keeps it in a lot and sometimes it's hard to tell how he feels. The only sure way to know is when he gets jealous (which he does a lot, haha..) or when I've a problem and he jumps to my aid. He has said the sweetest things to me but only uttered the L word once or twice. There're other subtle cues which are hard to describe here. It takes time and observation because he won't expose his feelings easily.

I read that Virgos are generally an insecure lot, that's why they give a lot in relationships. They'll swing between being clingy and detached which describes my guy. Virgos' love language is acts of service usually. They don't have ardent love expressions unless they've a fire Venus just like my guy (Venus in Leo), but still he swings left/right.

My experience is that he sometimes questions my expressions of love and doesn't take my feelings seriously. Gemini/Sag are probably seen as too flighty and unreliable to him (even though we're all mutable!) but his Leo Venus enjoys my playfulness and passion. I can really sweet talk a storm and I know his Leo loves it. We also have Moon trine Venus DW and my Moon/Venus flank his ASC-DSC so these helped us to find common grounds.

This is like reading about my bf! Although he hasn’t been jealous before. When I talk about love and his feelings he looks like Bambi on ice. Acts of service and lovely touches are his thing.
I think he is a bit like yours, mine appreciates my playfulness and silliness and philosophicness (he has Libra Venus so it’s a bit liking there), but it’s not what truly gets to him. His Taurus Moon also plays a role. Mine is Leo. It helps that I have an Cap asc! But for me it’s a learning experience to go about out of my comfort zone to show my love. And Sag likes learning

Oh, he has a Taurus Moon...love for him probably has to feel very "real". Earth signs are practical like that. They show love rather than talk about it. With Taurus-Virgo combined, he builds a relationship slowly but surely and he values tangible things. His Libra Venus is flirty but ultimately he's gonna fall back to his Moon for emotional security. Your Cap ASC should help you find common grounds. Does it form a grand trine with his Sun/Moon? What's his ASC and Mars?

Yes! He is a sociable guy, everyone likes him. Which is great. But I notice on a more personal level his earthiness. My Asc trines his Sun. His Moon is very badly aspected by my chart, it’s opposite Saturn/Pluto (and Saturn is my chart ruler too). The Pluto opposition is out of sign and maybe too wife. So this isn’t the best.

He has a Stellium in Libra with Venus/Mercury/Mars/Asc/Pluto with lots of sextiles to my Sun and Moon. I have Leo Moon tightly conjunct his Saturn. So moon/Saturn is powerful in our synastri.
My Mars is Capricorn (no squares to his Libra gang).

Opps, Moon opposite/conjunct Saturn DW. As binding as this can be, it can also create a real block in emotional connection especially yours is hard aspects both ways. Also, your Pluto opposite his Moon...your Moon in square sign to his.... No wonder he appears like Bambi on ice, lol.

No soothing aspects to his Moon?

We have good Moon aspects in composite. A tribe with Jupiter and a wide one to the Sun
