Hello,

The north node in composite is acting like the north node in the natal? Like, the south node is something that we were at the beginning of the relationship and the north node will manifest after more semnificant time has passed being together. Like the north node in the natal manifests in the second part of your life.

In a relationship I was, the north node was in the 7th house, but it seemed like we were never balanced and we were each for themselves.
Even if we were together for 6 years, we didn't reach that 7th north node to be for the other, to understand the other and be balanced.

Hello mee_chryssa

Seven years is an ordinary length in a relationship. So yes, you made this north node in 7. You have to see the nature of this North Node, the aspects, where is the master of the North Node, these aspects, the framing of the house 7, the planet just before and the planet just after, it gives a lot of information planetary framing

Oh, so you are saying that whatever the lenght of the relationship is, that's the time in which that house will be manifested?

I thought that it could be like in the natal, when the south node will be more obvious in the beginning.

So, whatever the time, the south node/north node path will be made in the time the relationship is meant to exist, right?

Generally, South Node is the area we're good at and familiar with (so called brought over from past lives) and North Node is where we reach towards, an area we're lacking and we need to learn in order to grow and feel fulfilled. In Vedic they said that Rahu (NN) is where we're insatiable so we keep reaching for it, wanting more. It doesn't mean that once we reach our NN we leave our SN behind. We will often fall back on our SN because that's our familiar turf.

Wherever your SN is that's the area you do well, so your cSN in 1H means you two are good at being individuals and as a couple, your objective (in order to feel fulfilled) is to reach a state where you're able to operate as partners - sacrificing, doing things for each other, doing things as a unit rather than as separate entities. The signs your SN/NN are in will reveal more.

E.g. Me and my guy has NN in Scorpio 9H conjunct Uranus. We need to reach a level of intimacy where we can explore and experience things together, including shared beliefs. This is what will truly bring us intimacy. Uranus is probably telling us to be bold & radical or maybe sometimes we should just do it and not think so much. However, our SN conjunct Mars in 3H Taurus gets us caught up in details or in what we find comfortable & safe. We may also be spending too much time talking/discussing since Mars is there.

Thank you for your reply!

The sign of the North node is in Aquarius, South node in Leo.

We separated years ago.
I found out about astrology after and I'm still amazed about how some things found in astrology are true.

Unfortunately. Were you very young when you were together? First thing that came to my mind with Leo is a couple sitting on their separate thrones.

I was 17 years old and he was 19.

Yes, we were kinda like that.

Because it didnt happen to us, I thought that, maybe, to get to north node would mean more than 6 years. Like the north node is acting in natal chart. Even if you go to south node from time to time.

^ Relationship takes maturity. It could very well be that if you had persevered on or had known each other later in life, things may have turned out differently. This is similar to what astrologers said about difficult natal aspects being easier to manage as you get older, past your Saturn Return.
