Hi everyone! I love studying relationship astrology but I’m having trouble figuring out me and my partners. Someone told me our synastry looks karmic- could you guys tell me how you feel about it and help me out?? Thank you!! Here’s our synastry:

and the composite: Is that a yod between the vertex, uranus and jupiter? If it is, what could that mean along with the grand cross?

Hi neopetdiary! Ive just been teaching myself about astrology for the past couple months so I wouldnt dare interpret anything for you but I think when it comes to karma in synastry theres a couple things I noticed and learned through my own personal research. Some things you can look into, again if anything I say is incorrect someone please correct me.

First I believe with Karmic you want to look for hard aspects like the opposition, conjunction, square, semisqaure because they show point of tension (karma) and point to where you can learn and grow from past patterns

Contact with the The Nodes and the Angles in general are karmic signs i believe

Saturn, Chiron, and Outer Planets (Uranus, Neptune, Pluto) contact with personal planets/angles/nodes

I am not sure if the same thing applies for the composite chart or if there are different aspects there but the composite nodes can give you a good idea of possible past lives together if that applies (South) and areas for growth and purpose in terms or your relationship as an entity in this life (North)

Again please double check all of this but when it comes to the YOD or any aspect pattern I seen that a lot of astrologers do not include the angles, nodes, vertex or midpoints because the power of an aspect pattern comes from the cyclical or directed energy play between the planets involves and they are mathematical points not a physical planetary body that can give and receive energy.

Hope that helps you a little to be able to focus your view in karmic terms anyways.

Hi neopetdiary

Composite Vertex conjunct DSC/Sun and square to North Node/IC is extremely karmic and fated. With this aspect, you can have a deep soulmate feeling, and the strong belief that you are destined to be together. In addition, the Jupiter/Vertex/Uranus YOD can give a telepathic connection, and with Venus being conjunct to the Jupiter/Vertex midpoint the feeling is literally "eternal love".....
All these aspects involving the Vertex on the DSC square the Nodes/IC/Saturn and the YOD look so extremely fated that something could be completely out of your control in terms of achievements and long terms. Something very fated again might get in the way between the two.
Saturn/NN square to the ASC/DSC and the Jupiter quincunx Uranus are both strong unstable aspects, a big question mark about the future. The Saturn/IC/North Node is extremely binding though, maybe this is someone coming from your past, or someone you share a very familiar feeling, or someone you will build a family with.
But also Uranus opposite Venus is another unstable trait, usually bringing abrupt changes or strong ups and downs, and Neptune square Mars usually points to the guy being very independent from the relationship.
Chiron/South Node in the 10th house again shows that there is a strong karmic bond, likely long lasting, and possibly a past life indicator. Even so, Chiron in the 10th house opposite Saturn might suggest that some kind of burden might hinder your union, and south node conjunct to Chiron gives a feeling of "abandonment", or that an abandoment issue at psychological level could arise.
When transiting North Node will be conjunct to the Composite North Node/IC/Saturn, I would expect a very fated and significant event in your relationship.
