I‘m particularly interested in the way Venus feels. Is it mutual in any way?

We were together for 6 years. We were deeply in love with one another.

This is a good aspect because how venus is, is how the descendant is looking for in other people.

Also, my venus was conjunct his midheaven.

I know exactly how DSC feels, I have it with someone I adore very much, me being the DSC. If I had to define ‘my type’ It would be him. I didn’t know it before I met him. I’ve been deeply in love with other people I had relationships with, but this is a first one where I actually feel like.. this is ‘my person‘ and I adore everything about him.

For sure I complimented him. At first I was the one after him and after a few months he was the one trying to keep me. But his venus was conjunct saturn in his natal chart.

I also like his face the most! It’s his most outstanding feature to me! Objectively most people would consider him Not that handsome, but to me his face is just super sexy, the way he looks, the shape of his nose, his jawline, his mouth in particular and his teeth. On social media he often uses filters to distort his face. He does it ironically to mock the fakeness of all the beauty filters and the image of perfection that so-called instagram models uphold. But even when he completely distorts his face, I still genuinely find him beautiful.

So apparently Venus on DSC in synastry somehow correlates with a favorable perception of a person’s face. In my case it’s in Taurus.

As Venus I'm very drawn to him as well partly because he makes me feel "accepted", that I don't need to change myself in any way. It's nice to know that the DSC person thinks Venus person is very much their type.

It helps if Venus also receives nice aspects from other planets of the DSC person. I read that it can alter the feeling.

How do you feel about your bf aside from being grateful for his affection? I think there‘s a difference between genuinely adoring someone, because you simply love who they are, or adoring someone because of the way they respond to you.

I had someone’s Venus/mercury/Juno conjunct my descendant/north node but 6 degrees away from 6th house. All in early Aquarius. I think it was still felt though. My Jupiter closely opposite their Venus/mercury/Juno and my Venus widely opposite that. We were in sync in many ways despite our mars squaring each other and I think it was due to this.

Somehow I get the impression that Venus conj Dsc could go either way for the Dsc person, depending on how venus responds to affection. Some people just can’t handle that much adoration. If they have low self-esteem or are generally not really interested in the Dsc person, it could become a turn off to get that much attention from someone.
