This was my most recent ex. It took us both a while to get over the relationship and Im still not sure what happened. We were great friends first and maybe we shouldn't have crossed the line into romance.

Nothing bad really happened, we just grew apart and never had any closure. Apart of me thinks he grew apart first but kept up the relationship anyway.

Were at a point now where we are considering renewing our friendship but I dont know if we can.

Interesting question. I agree that the composite is quite positive. The synastry has a lot of negatives though: mars/mercury opposite pluto and square saturn; sun square moon; moon opposite saturn.

Normally you'd expect these aspects to create a lot of pain, misunderstanding, anger, friction and arguments—violence and abuse is even possible.

With sun in aquarius and moon/asc in libra, he probably hates drama and conflict and avoids it whenever he can. Sweeping things under the rug to keep the peace is kind of a classic Libra move. My best guess is that he started to feel the tensions in your synastry, and handled it by distancing himself.

Transits and progressions at the time of the breakup could show more. When did you break up? Uranus was most likely in his 7th house (if not conjunct the descendant), which might mean it came out of the blue. If neptune was squaring your venus, it would mean disappointment, shattering of a romantic illusion, lack of clarity and maybe something hidden from you coming to light.

We were on/off relationship wise and we both had a very similar approach to love. I think were always going to be connected in some way and he triggers such strong protective feelings in me. We may not have been the healthiest for each other because we were both so non committal. We were together but we didnt like labels

Do you see that he has alot of love for me or if we are emotionally connected. He wants to come back into my life but I am trying to decide if that is a good idea

In the composite ... the intercepted and duplicated signs indicate that ... an issue in the 1st + 7th houses is adversely affecting the 2nd + 8th houses - in a way that prevents the positive qualities of Gemini, Sagittarius, Jupiter and Pluto from being used effectively.

However, without the exact orbs, it is a waste of everyone's time to attempt an analysis of the synastry between the two natal charts. ... http://zarathuastrology.zohosites.com/WHAT-DO-YOU-NEED-TO-TELL-THE-ASTROLOGER1.html
