Topic: always attracting certain house types?

Does anyone else find that they always seem to attract similar people astrologically?I constantly attract people with planets that go into my 12th house. CONSTANTLY. It's happened over and over and over for years. If I meet 7 people in a year, all 7 of them will have at least 2 of their planets in my 12th house. I try to meet other people, but it just never happens. People who have planets in my 12th seem to be more attracted to me somehow. In my case, They are usually the ones to first engage the relationship conversation. IP: Logged |

Yes, i see a pattern to my relationships too.For 12-H stuff, maybe you have some unresolved karma or psychological blocks that needed to be work out and attracting others whose planets fall in your 12th is your subconscious way of bringing those issues more to the surface? What is the ruler of your 12th? Does it fall in your 7th? or does it have some connection to the other relationship houses/personal planets? Also, take a look at your Asc and its ruler & relationships to the latter as well... IP: Logged |

No the ruler of my 12th is in the 11th house actually. So I suppose there is a connection to friendships and network circle.I natally have the NN and Saturn in my 12th house as well and saturn is supposed to be glue. But I'm not sure the glue works that well in the 12th house anyway since that house tends to diffuse any planet that's in it. IP: Logged |

I second what NxNW said, check out the ruler of your 12th house and whether it is somehow related to your relationship houses. In my case, my 12th house ruler is mercury which sits in my 7th house. Mercury is also the ruler of my IC AND rules my Virgo Moon....and as a cancer ascendant Moon is obviously also important. I've noticed that ALL of my longest and best (female) friends are VERY mercurial. They either have major personal planets in gemini (in my 12th house) or virgo. The men I have been most attracted to either had moon or venus in gemini (in my 12th) or a mars in virgo.. In terms of romantic attractions that of course might also have something to do with their moon or vensu in gemini opposing my mars in saggi...and their mars in virgo conjuncting my moon in virgo. But still check out whether your 12th house ruler is in anyway significant in either your relationship houses or maybe your first house..i.e. what you are projecting. For instance if your 12th house ruler is also your ascendant ruler or placed in the 1st house, it might be an attracting force to them

P.S. seems our posts overlapped,ok, so no link to your first or relationship houses.But the 11th house is supposed to signify "love received", so maybe that's the link as you don't seem to return the attraction. 11th is aries in my case and lots of aries have been attracted to me, one boyfriend, but attraction from my side not very strong. More neutral, friendship like. Also several aries women are close friends of mine, so the "love received" does ring true to me.IP: Logged |

Similar situation here! I find that all my best friends (men/women) are also heavily mercurial or uranian in nature. I didn't understand why at first until I learned to extrapolate my otherwise empty Aqu 7th-House/DSC and looked at my 11-th House (traditionally ruled by Uranus) to see that it's in Gem (where my moon also resides). And the guys that seem most into me all had heavy Gem placements, especially Gem Mars. And when they're near my Gem moon...fireworks! lol IP: Logged |

Yes,
before even I knew anything about astrology.Venus in Cap conjunct Saturn is a must.
Scorpio personal planets
Water Moon (Cancer or Scorpio)
and a little bit of Aqua or Uranus conjunct Venus.
Also Venus or Mars conjunct Neptune. It's the same again and again and again. It makes sense though, I have
Pluto in 5th H Scorpio
Capricorn DSC conjunct Cap Uranus, CanpNeptune and Cap North Node in 7th H.
Aqua 8th H with Saturn in it.

With everybody I liked or dated or had mutual feelings, platonic connection I have 12h Saturn in composite with or just ruler of the chart (ours or composite ruler) in 12th.
Assume that having in my own natal chart all aspects that deny love - it's not that strange. just frustration  IP: Logged |
