My dad doesn't like to text, although he did text me several times, when he had a SIM card in the cell that he uses for scanning deliveries. I know he's a lot older than this guy, but some people just don't like it.

The Taurus wanted to call me, when he wanted to move things forward, but I put him off at first, because I don't have a landline, and it would cost me too much if he called my cell. So I suggested Whatsapp, he came back with "Whatsapp is owned by facebook" and I'm thinking, "Do you want to call me, or not?" I prefer texting, unless I really want to talk, and I think it makes more sense if you aren't ready to dive in (especially with covid, and all of that).

I don’t consider someone a friend unless we talk on the phone. I text casually/sporadically with acquaintances. No way around this distinction for me, as in there’s no reason to bend the rules or fool myself into thinking I’m closer with someone than I actually am. Just what makes sense for digital relations through time/space.

If someone’s not creative or trustful enough to call me up on phone or welcome a call, I don’t readily divide my attention from then on—meaning I’ll be slower to respond in general, because I’ll be living my life. I like to share quality time—think this type is known as one of the “five love-languages”

Quality time is my #1 love language, too. That makes sense for virtual friendships, and it’s something I’m occasionally reminded of - although I do have friends that I text with, who would drive up here, if I really needed them. I have wanted to spend time with them in person, for years.

Odette is just getting to know this guy. That’s why I think texting, email, Instagram would all be acceptable for now.

Haha, I know how this feels. If I don't know someone well enough, I'll also prefer texting than calling. And I think men (if they're attracted) generally want to move things very fast. Some may also be thinking that they don't wanna waste time on people who aren't really keen. I've met (online) guys who wanna meet up almost immediately but I don't like to progress so fast so they always ended up dropping me as they thought I was uninterested and wasting their time.

Anyway the composite shows potential for an intense connection. Both of you are very Martian.

I don't like calling much but I detest texting so I have found an enjoyable middle ground these past few years which are voice notes on whatsapp or Instagram. Perfect middle ground. You hear the person's voice and can listen to theirs in your own time and leave a new voice note, also in your time. PLus no awkward silence from real-time phone calls. Plus talking is better than typing, too lazy to talk and more can be said in voice notes compared to typing. Use Whatsapp or insta DM voice recording!

Ohhh, Odette. Angles conjunction is nice! It shows that your outlook in life are very similar and you likely also have similar life experiences. And with Moons sextile and Mercuries trine I feel that you will have an easy relating.

Your composite, however, looks heavy yo (haha) with all those planets in 7H and Pluto squares. A lot of emphasis on your communication and mutual understanding which can swing between good and bad because Mercury is being hit by all the planets.

Yeah, I'll take a look, but it might be a bit. I'm going camping for the next couple to few days depending on the weather.

Probably won't get a chance to really focus on them until after I come back.

But I'll just say quickly now, definitely like this chart much better. He looks to be a primary Venusian with Jupiter also pretty strong, and some definite Lunar attunemet. Much faster vibratory and empathy attuned chart than the chart I earlier thought he had.

If his Soul completed the energetic connections to the body right around his physical birth time, then a noted feature would be he's likely packing some definite (big) heat with Scorp Jup trine his Asc and his chart ruler in Scorp.

Haha...I'm the opposite. I prefer to text. To write long texts actually. On my computer. (there are computer versions of whatever texting app you use on your phone and that makes everything so much easier...).

But then again, I have my Moon in Gemini, in the 11-H which is traditionally ruled by Aquarius and my DSC in Aquarius. So I prefer chatting via text than a phone call. B/c I can multi-task when texting on the computer and the Gem in me needs this. Most of my closest friends are pretty Air heavy too and we text chat almost every day. Even though I have a Taurus stellium, it's my Gem moon that really influences my "love language" the most.
