My mars trined my ex's Jupiter, his squared mine. I would say I tolerated his beliefs and they concerned me but he didn't really care for mine and did what he wanted anyway. I think natal house placements and synastry placements are really important. His mars in second squared my Jupiter in 4th, the way he acted combated my beliefs and wants for our family life. I didn't really see him as the father of my future children because of the way he acted, I feel like that's how it manifested. LOOOL I just realised you're talking about trines.

Let's see my natal mars in 10th trines his natal Jupiter in 3rd. My mars is in his 12th house conjunct ascendant while his Jupiter is in my second. Idk how that would manifest. His knowledge about finances and possessions really made me like him and see him as a good partner but I never outwardly expressed that. Also because I valued the way his knowledge on business etc, I did start implementing the things he said naturally but I never really told him about it.
