I know this depends on both people. But for romance is it better to have Venus/Mars, Venus/Sun, or Sun/Mars for romance in synastry?

IMO it’s Moon-Venus.

Do you think an 8 degree trine between Moon and Venus counts? If so I have this aspect with someone both ways and the conjunction in Composite.

Sun/Mars only with easy aspects. The conjunction is going to be hard to handle - the Mars person will be aggressive with the Sun person and he/she will think there is a competition or something.
Venus/Mars only easy aspects, I would say, I think is just a preference after what happened with a guy with which I shared a DW Venus-Mars conjunction. It is too intense, there is a crazy chemistry. Too much for me.
Venus/Sun it is a nice aspect to have with anyone. There is a nice harmonious environment with this aspect and both people like each other.

Most people usually say that Venus/Mars is the best. That's always what I've read anyway. But like Hikaru29 mentioned I personally think Venus/Moon would be better. Since the Moon is our emotions.

Moon-Venus aspects can be so so beautiful but you have to look at the entire chart. My Venus was conjunct my ex’s and it was so beautiful but I had a tendency to look past things. And my moon square his Saturn suffered greatly. Not to mention his Mars square my Mercury and Pluto.

Usually my Mars squares quite a few suns close to me but I think gender also plays a role and because my Mars is mutable, there’s more room to adapt. I like Venus and Mars aspects because I’m quite intense in general and again it depends on gender in my case. If my Venus squares a males Mars then there’s more of a heavy note but my Mars squaring a males Venus brings more intensity which I love lol. It really depends.

I would count it as long as it shows up on Astro although may not be as strongly felt.

I'm afraid to know, but curious anyways😆 I have My Venus conjunct a woman's Mars in Virgo at 4° orb, my Moon conjunct her Venus and Sun (5.5° and 9° orb(s) respectively) in Libra, and both her Venus and Sun squaring both my Cancer Sun and Capricorn Mars (0.5° orb for Venus square Sun) ( 5.5° orb for Venus square Mars) (4° orb for Sun square Sun) and (9° orb for Sun square Mars).

She's a co-worker, we play-fight and argue like siblings, and give each other lots of crap for any and everything. It 's kinda hot. Without seeing our entire synastry...what do you guys think? Experience the same dynamic? I'm 12 years older than her too FYI.

Imo it depends on what's most important in the relationship to the couple. I mean if you want sizzle Venus+Mars. Nurture and deeper caring Venus+Moon.

I know. There is a subjective view that have to be taken into account. For me it doesn't work, but for others could be really nice. Maybe it was like that for me because it was a 0 degree conjunction for both parts. I usually don't like Mars' conjunctions to any planet in my chart.
