Hello beautiful, I've had a lot of things happen these past few days and this seems to have just added more tension. I'm trying to limit my readings on here because I don't have a lot to offer this forum at the same time.

I trust your judgement and I remember you saying that our relationship could end Spring 2021 or 2022 (I think). Remember how I mentioned he's leaving the country, he did and now he's back. He doesn't know I know but I found out a couple of days ago. And today, I received a message from him telling me he misses me, he's been thinking about me a lot and wants to talk to me. Idk how to feel but I wanted to see if there's anything in our transits. Thank you my love <3

OMG, this is exactly what has happened to me yesterday with my ex best friend, who has sent me a message after more than a year out of nowhere, same aspects, transiting Nodes square Composite Moon along transiting mercury sextile Moon!! what a crazy coincidence we have!!

This is certainly the main transit about he re-connecting!
What's going on though, transiting Venus conjunct to transiting South Node is conjunct Chiron square Moon, so it seems there's a wish to let go of the past issue/wound, maybe an attempt to get closer again and see if it's possible to "heal" whatever went wrong between you two. Maybe tr. South Node/Venus here can bring such a healing, especially cause of tr. Saturn/Jupiter conjunct Mars/Netptune at the same time, sextile to Mercury, so an attempt to reconcile through clearer communication and open up...
Well you obviously have a strong bond with this person since Saturn/Jupiter is conjunct IC... but it is a very unstable one, and be careful cause in a couple of months tr. Jupiter will be conjunct to Comp. Venus but square to Saturn/Jupiter, so there's a possibility to re-establish a relationship but with the square to Saturn/Jupiter such attempt might fail and old unstable dynamics and issues may show up again, especially a little later as tr. saturn on uranus will also be square to Saturn/Jupiter/IC... It may work for a while but the composite Uranus square to Saturn/Jupiter may annouce a difficult committment in the long run and this will be activated again by tr. Saturn conjunct comp. Uranus square Jupiter/Saturn next year...
This person may be in your life for long, with such on-off periods, even though you'll likely be always quite intimate and familiar, it's a very karmic bond...

Gosh, I love and hate how we can relate. Instead of a year of no contact, it's been a month. He said we could be friends again in the future when we're over our feelings but idk if I can do that. He inflicted a lot of trauma on me, something I'm going to therapy for but yet speaking to him brought me happiness in a way. He was my best friend.

I can't keep doing on an off periods, I have a life to live and I cannot be tied to him especially because he doesn't have the ability to step up but gosh I miss him.

Intimate and karmic bond is correct and it's so frustrating. I want him but I don't. I want him close but then I shouldn't. Idk what to do. Just yesterday, the same he reached out, I had to tell someone else who loves me and wants to marry me that I don't want to be with him (his family arranged for him to be married to someone else, not his fault tho) and it's just frustrating. I'm constantly being attacked with things that guys do left right and centre and I just don't know what to do.

He said he was leaving the country permanently, he said he closed off all his accounts in the UK so there had to be something bad that happened there for him to come back a month later. And now he's texting me like everything is all good. Like show more. I'm just airing his message despite wanting to message him back and feel close but my life has gotten too serious. Like insanely. I've lost my sense of self because of him.

Well... with Composite Chiron square to Sun/Moon midpoint it certainly looks like a painful dynamic. Since transiting south node/venus are actually on chiron, I believe he's being sincerly trying to heal those wounds, but as I said with Jupiter/Saturn/IC square Uranus and transiting Jupiter and Saturn forthcoming here, such painful dynamics have a high chance to resurface.
If it was so harsh for you, I would advice to be careful and not to expect things to go much differently in the future... maybe you can still be friends but you will need to set boundaries and control on the situation cause the Chiron square to Moon can trigger new heartbreaks for you.
