I find it funny that my 8th house and his 2nd house (shared resources / values?) start at the same sign, same degree...

and his 2nd house and my 8th house start at the same sign, same degree...

I haven't observed the vertex to be that significant in relationships, unless one factors in a more whole sign type connection rather than "in orb" aspects.

But some of the more common twin soul synastry that I have noticed is Sun opposite or same Sign as the others Moon (doesn't need to be "in aspect" necessarily, but stronger and more immediate when it is). Sun opposite or same Sign as the others ASC and especially strong when the Sun is also either conjunct the ASC and/or in the 1st House or conjunct the DESC and/or in the 7th.

And when the ruler(s) of the ASC of one, and the ruler(s) of the DESC of another are conjunct or opposite in aspect and to lesser extent just in same or opposite Signs--this is another strong one.

For example, in one twin soul case, partner A's Sun/South Node conjunction is opposite Sign of partner's B's ASC and in their 7th. Partner B's Venus is conjunct partner A's Sun/South Node conjunction and in their 1st. Parnter A's ASC is conjunct partner B's Sun which is their ASC/Chart ruler.

Partner B's Moon is conjunct partner A's Saturn which is their ASC/Chart ruler and Jupiter, and partner A's Moon is opposite partner B's Moon which is their DESC ruler.

There are many other aspects and patterns, but these are some of the most notable/significant.

In another case, Partner A's ruler of Sun, 8th, and co-ruler of Moon is almost exactly conjunct partner B's ASC and opposed their Venus which rules their Moon, MC, and Pluto Signs.

Partner A's Sun is in the opposite Sign of partner B's Moon.

Partner B's Sun which is the ASC/Chart ruler is conjunct modern ruler of Partner A's DESC, Venus, and Saturn (Pisces) and in their 5th House. Co-ruler of Partner A's DESC, Venus, and Saturn is conjunct partner B's ruler of the 8th and is very closely conjunct the 5th cusp.

Partner B's Jupiter which is the ruler of their 5th and co-ruler of their 8th is almost exactly conjunct partner A's ASC and trine their Mercury/South Node conjunction where Mercury rules Partner A's ASC and MC.

The ruler of partner B's Sun and Mercury Signs and the faster moving ruler of their DESC and Venus Signs, is in partner A's 1st House and opposed their Venus Saturn conjunction which is in their (partner A's) 7th House and where Saturn rules the 5th and Neptune (ruler of DESC/Venus/Saturn) Sign, and Venus rules partner A's ASC/Chart ruler/MC ruler Sign and South Node placement. (that sounds confusing, i.e. Partner A. has Virgo Rising and Gemini MC with their Mercury in Taurus conjunct Taurus South Node).

Partner B's modern ruler of DESC and Venus is conjunct partner A's Moon, and partner A's Moon is in partner B's 4th House. Partner A's North Node is conjunct partner B's Nadir.

Thank you, but any chance you can actually look at the synastry? I'm new to astrology so I'm not quite sure how to find a lot of the things you mentioned. At my experience level, I can only identify major conjunctions.

To me, what seemed most eye-catching and quite jaw dropping was the fact that:

his vertex conjunct my ascendant
my ascendant conjunct his vertex, so double whammy
his MC conjunct my IC
my IC conjunct his MC, so double whammy
my moon conjunct his moon
his sun conjunct my moon

a lot of this is happening in the 12th house

Sun-Moon and Moon-Moon conjunct shows great understanding towards one another’s core natures. I especially love Moon-Moon conjunct/trine/sextile. IME sun-moon conjunct/opposite didn’t turn into relationships, but Moon-Moon harmonious aspects are always there for me without fail. I’m not saying sun-moon is a hoax. I’m just saying this aspect could turn out to be strong friendships instead.

Though, on the other hand, the MC-IC axis in general is also a very parental/family one, which can relate those other dynamics/patterns, and so they can get A LOT of our attention because of that. After all, few of us are not strongly (whether consciously or unconsciously is another question) influenced by our childhoods and connections to parental figures, whether for weal or woe.

I met a guy once and we had amazing synastry! On top of that we had a tight sun, moon, mercury, venus, jupiter, and neptune conjunction in the composite! And a bunch of trines and sextiles from other outer plants. It was incredible because I have never met anyone with whom I had such great synastry or composite with. I thought he was a soulmate for sure! The connection and chemistry was mind blowing. But it turns out that he was a karmic relationship...someone that i was supposed to meet for a short time and not spend the rest of my life with. I was later also told by psychics that he is a karmic.
