Hope everyone is having a great year...at least better than the train-wreck that was 2020 *sigh*

So the deal thus far is..I met a boy (actor) in November 2020 and Stoika and Softissues and Todd very helpfully gave me more-or-less the same reading about our relationship, that it is hot and heavy but not really made out for long term. Well, the actor behaved exactly as all these experts predicted. It was an intense short-term thing but long term, the guy is just non committal and off to his shoots. Before leaving he did try to get into an 'open' sort of deal but well, I am a natal saturn in 7th person and not into open relationships, so that burnt out really fast. So that's the beginning of 2021 for me...yayyyyy...

Anyway, out of the blue I got an email from a long-lost friend today and that made me think about where we broke off about 3-4 years ago. We were co-workers and then friends, some really intense attraction too but somehow it just didn't take off. Cannot put my finger on exactly why but it just did not happen..though I always felt like he was interested and I am sure I gave pretty clear vibes of being interested..and then nothing happened and we changed jobs and lost touch.

Today he just emailed that he will be coming back to town next month or possibly earlier and would like to 'catch up'. The only thing I can think of is that perhaps the timing was not right the last time and now the universe is putting us back together? Because we did have a very emotionally fulfilling friendship and this was always ay the back of my mind that we could have been great together...and today I just got an email from him when it was least expected...

Anyway, I decided to let the experts here do their thing.. Why did this relationship did not take off in the first place when we first met some years ago?? And is there any indication it might now?

Again, a complete noob here when it comes to synastry, composite, davison...so just call it as you see it. I am happy being the guinea pig of the universe as far as relationships are concerned *sigh*

Well... of course this guy showed up cause transiting north node has just travelled through the comp asc and transiting saturn/jupiter are square comp. Vertex along transiting mercury/pluto conjunct Sun/mercury!!

My advice is to keep well down to earth though. There's an intense chemistry between you two, with comp. Venus/Mars square Pluto... pretty hot! You may also enjoy spend time together, but Saturn conjunct Neptune is not usually a good aspect for long term... the Juno/Jupiter midpoint is conjunct Pluto square Mars, so he may be there only for sex, and Saturn/Moon midpoint is square Uranus, which would confirm that a romantic attempt could last shortly.

And this guy too I don't have big expectations from, since I have known him as a co-worker and friend for quite a considerable amount of time and though we were good friends, there is something secluded and hidden about his personality too that I haven't been able to put my finger onto but something that has not allowed a romantic relationship to develop the last time around. Your reading confirms that it may not be happen this time too that is something I instinctively feel too...though it puzzles me why I keep bumping into men like these over and over, the ones who are unavailable long term??!

I am trying to understand, I guess we all are, right? Why things happen the way they do..why do we meet some people just to drift apart..why do things keep happening in a pattern over and over *sigh sigh sighhhhhh*

Yup, I guess natal saturn in 7th signifies late blossoming for me in terms of relationships, and probably also generally everything in life. I am a saturnian person so everything happens to me later than my friends and same-age people, everything takes its own sweet glacial pace lol, that's the saturn lesson, patience patience and more patienceeeee Next life I so wanna be a sun or mars person, right here right now haha

What does vertex indicate? I know nodes indicate some kind of karmic connection, right? Like north node is where we are going while south node is where we have been..so if our nodes are conjunct in reverse, it means we might have met before in some lifetime and we might again? And I don't understand what vertex signifies? Very interested in figuring this out....

well I guess sometimes we attract and are attracted to people who can show us/teach us something about ourselves or even if it's all just by chance, we just choose what to take and what to reject according to our inner awareness?
