Topic: 7th house rulers squaring each other, does this mean anything?

Just starting my journey learning about house rulers and how they interact in synastry. What would it mean if me and my person's 7th house rulers are squaring each other. For instance, my 7th house ruler is Pluto, his 7th house ruler is Saturn. Interestingly, his Saturn in Leo 1st house is square my Pluto in Scorpio in 6th house exact. Or would my 7th house ruler be Scorpio and his Capricorn, I'm kind of confused. It's also funny that I'm a Scorpio sun and he's a Capricorn sun, weird. Let me know if I'm on the right track looking into this aspect more. Thank you!!IP: Logged |

So, the ruler of your 7th house is the planet which rules the sign on the cusp of the 7th. So if your 7th house cusp is in Scorpio, your 7th house ruler is Pluto (or Mars, if you are going with traditional rulerships).Rulers of the 7th squared does indicate some differences in how you both approach partnerships in general. You may have different ideas about commitment for example. However, even though there may be differences which can cause some misunderstandings between you, squares can bring useful lessons if both of you are open to learning from each other. ------------------

When the Sign has two rulers, I focus more on the faster moving ruler, because it is often more sensitive and personal to you. I still factor in the modern ruler as well, but I have just noticed that the faster moving ruler is often more indicative in a more immediate and direct way lots of times. Especially when we're looking at partnerships relatively close to our own age, we often have a lot of the same Uranus, and especially Neptune and Pluto aspects with different people near our age.
