Topic: Venus square asecendant- repulsion or attraction

I met a person online and we have been talking on the telephone and I do really like him. However, his venus squares my ascendant. Virgo and sagittarius.
Now is it possible that I will find me unattractive. I have read this on this forum and I want to hear your stories about venus Square ascendant. Will he find me repulsive? I am quite afraid to meet in real life now. I always found Woody Harrelson extremely attractive and his venus is in direct opposition to my ascendant. But I do not know about square relationships. Here's what Lyn Birkbeck states in Do-It-Yourself Relationship Astrology :-" The physical appearance and manner of the Ascendant person can seem unattractive or socially inept to the Venus person, or the Venus person may feel that way in comparison to the Ascendant. ... One of my ex-boyfriend's venus was exactly square my ascendant. He once told me that the moment he saw me he wanted to be with me. The attraction was very strong for him (not for me). However, we had VERY different styles and he didn't like my dress style. Don't get me wrong, I dressed very well, it just was so different from his own taste, he would have bought me a completely different wardrobe if i had let him. So who knows maybe that was linked to the tight venus-ascendant square. But I doubt attraction or repulsion would just be determined by a single aspect.IP: Logged |

Both lol, and exactly what the person above said, the attraction is there but in a way you're not trying to be attractive. For example, you think you're most attractive when you're put together and dressed up but he finds you attractive when you're dressed comfy with no makeup. And this depends on the signs. But it is mostly the Venus person who feels attraction? I have sag ascendant, and he is a Virgo Venus. The orb is 3, so not that intense. We also have a lot of other aspects. Sadly, mars square Mars. Mars is making a lot of aspects. Without so much Mars it would be a lot better. I feel the Mars square Mars already.

Hopefully, he will not comment on my dress style all the time. Is that the case? I had an ex who did that. He found me attractiive, but would downplay my clothes all the time. It was very hurtful. He also had a Venus in Virgo, not squaring my ascendant. Made me very unhappy. I have sag ascendant, and he is a Virgo Venus. The orb is 3, so not that intense. We also have a lot of other aspects. this is one of the tightest aspects i have with someone and the attraction was instant.he even called it "movie like" and i've never heard a man talk like that. i don't think he had issues with my style, though there might be something on that previous post saying he'd like to see me without "all that", the make up, the dresses etc. not that he minds them. also, i don't think square signs repulse each other, so many of them have such similar qualities for example taurus and leo (fine taste, diva like), scorpio and aquarius (weirdos + dark look) etc. IP: Logged |
