Topic: My daughter and her dad (my husband)

Any thoughts on my daughter and her dad's synastry together? It looks kind of interesting, with the MC/IC axis especially. FYI, her name is Molly, and I used the Molleigh asteroid. Synastry (she is blue/he is red)

The first thing that struck me was Venus/Saturn and venus/Juno midpoints conjunct the node and the Jupiter/psyche midpoint square to the node.with moon conjunct to Venus ,I get this feeling that they are extremely close ,its like she is another you in that they seem more like a couple that a father and daughter.the are very attentive and devoted to each other.
With eris square to Lilith ,there is a deep emotional passion between then.I would venture that sometimes you may feel you are outside their "circle".Molly is conjunct to the vertex and the sun/Venus midpoint is also conjunct to molly
This gives almost supernatural understanding and love of each other.it seems they live in a world of their own. .these aspects also imply that her grandparents are very close to her and probably actively helped with her up bring.

Awww that’s really sweet. Thank you for your input. She is definitely a mini me and takes more after me than him. He must see a lot of me in her. She and I are very close too and I think he can also feel like an outsider in our relationship. She seems to have a relationship with him that I always wished I had with my father. Yes, his parents, her grandparents, have been extremely involved in her upbringing since day 1. That’s so cool you can see that. They have a special deep love and devotion for her that I haven’t really seen before, but then again she tends to make people feel that way, LOL. Anything you can add about the MC/IC and nodal contacts in synastry at all? Also their Psyche and POF connections? IP: Logged |

I don't use synastry much when I look at come mposites.to me the nature of a relationship is much Clearer lookingat a midpoint composite chart.
But there are a few aspects in their charts that are quite interesting.
First molly has a chiron/node/arc stellium.the node with n the ascendant is one of the most powerful indices of psychic abilities.this can give telepathy, reading of minds and it gives a prescence of the future.this aspect also go he's a strong intelligence.
Chiron added to these strengthens but abilities.it gives a very analytical mind,it gives mathematical skills and a excellent memory,as me times a photographic memory.sometimes the psychic aspect is not noticed because the mind is so logical and deductive that the immediate knowledge of answers to questions is taken a a manifestation of the mind.this shows she expects peoples words and actions to be coherent.she is quick to see did caption and falsity and call the personal out,though as psyche is conjunct ft to molly she might have learned to say only what a person can handle.
Mars is square the node and Chiron which is a aspect of strong will power.she is drawn to the the unusual and eccentric,sometimes quirky.
The Psyche/molly conjunction gives a highly creative,sensitive and empathetic nature.so I am sure she has surprised people before when this charming young woman's show s her psychic expansive and critical side.
Your hubby has as similar aspects as Chiron is conjunct to the node with Uranus conjunct to the south node .this gives similar abilities as molly has but the psychic abilities are not as obvious on a personal level.but this is made up for by Uranus with the south node as he has direct access to the astral plane.this give vivid dreams,astral projection and out of the body experiences.it can bring prophetic dreams so his psyche potential can show through.
But the south node also bring a plethora of thought forms from other dimensions so this aspect can be associated with mental confusion if the and individual does not realize that he is receiving input from etheric planes and thinks it is all him.so his ego structure must be flexible and not insecure.
With Chiron on the north node this can give genius mental abilities.math and science are highlighted and working with computers is likely.

Thank you so much, Todd! You actually answered some questions I had about her chart I posted in the asteroids forum, so thanks! I have always been wanting to ask about her chart so this was very insightful. I feel like her psychic abilities are maybe genetic or hereditary from me and my husband. We are both very intuitive water signs (me Scorpio, him Cancer) with other psychic placements - she got a double dose! I also have NN/ASC conjunction on the 1st/7th house axis just like she does, but in Taurus. I also have Moon conjunct Telephus in Aquarius squaring my nodal axis. Yes she is very gifted in math which is good because that goes way over my head! Her memory and ability to read people and their emotions and motives is downright scary sometimes - but she does OVER analyze sometimes ascribing things that are just not true or exaggerated and I've told her she needs to watch out for that. I honestly feel like I need to censor my thoughts around her - I don't want her to pick up on what I'm thinking because she does! Very strong will power but in more of a gentle, persistent and repetitive way. Yes, we all laugh at my husband's dreams sometimes - they can be crazy and amusing. But he is not good with math, technology/computers and is not interested in science at all, LOL. He has a lot of street smarts - not book smarts. He is in sales and is extremely successful and supervises a team of salesmen. He connects with people very well. Thanks for the feedback.
I didn't really delve deeply into these charts,I just read the strongest familiar aspects.
So your husbands avoidance of math and science intrigued me as those abilities are as innate as his dreams.
In closer scrutiny, I found aspects that would match with his reality.
First mercury is square to Pluto.this aspect can stunt the deductive ability though it adds a depth of thought.but this would makes sense to his as version to math.
The second is the Neptune/Saturn and Neptune/mars midpoints conjunct the node and Uranus. Neptune is often strong in sales chart as the Neptune person can visualize what the others needs are.and with mars /Saturn involved his authority over a sales force is manifest.these aspects can give a hidden insecurity though,one that he hides from most.
I am curious why you were not interest in the multi composite of you all.this tendency is also shown with the mercury/Pluto square

The composite also has aspects of karma / other worldly experiences.There is a combination of devoted loving energy but then there seems to be a dark isolation or maybe domineering feeling.
Saturn/node/Venus can be extremely devoted.there is a aura of strength around the father but he is also I flexible so others mat feel weighed down or....victimized..then the mars/Venus midpoint is conjunct to the moon giving spontaneous affection.these opposites can give deep breaths of excitement that can turn to a suffocating emotional state. As I said there seem to elements here that indicate this was a fated marriage, so it might feel as higher powers are watching.
But then the boss chart also shows intense destined feeling. With both you and your daughter having node ascendant conjunctions is very similar to the composite mercury conjunct the ascendant and vertex.this can give strong psychic connections between you but the vertex often bring common phantasmagoria dreams that are obscure .
With the Pluto/sun midpoint conjunct to Saturn/node the implication is that past lives are affecting the conscious feeling in the family

Wow, you are amazing. Yes, daddy has a very very strong personality and can be very inflexible and stubborn. He is an extremely outwardly loving person but can be controlling and domineering. He is of Italian descent - passionate and macho which runs in the family. Sometimes I feel like we are his employees or that he is my father. His Saturn is exactly conjunct my Sun down to the minute. It's weird, I have never felt a past life vibe from him. Like, my subconscious mind fights it for some reason. Must have been a terrible past life if my subconscious mind is actively denying it. It feels like we are rectifying past hurts in this lifetime. Lately he has been very willing to change his ways - he has been a very good listener to our critiques. We are all healing. While his father like attitude towards me has been frustrating at times, he really has helped me grow up and develop my career which I'm thankful for. He is a very good father, he just needs to go with the flow more. And you lost me at phantasmagoria! I had to look that up haha.
