My Sun Mars and Uranus is in his 12th house and his Moon and Mars is in my 12th house.

You see into one another on a deep, unconscious level. There is "knowing" here without necessarily knowing. But like most 12th house matters, it is beyond words. I would check the nodes for any past life connections.

For me, it was a very spiritual love. I realized at some point that I wasn't even interested in him sexually, despite the fact that he is incredibly handsome and had girls swooning over him all the time. 12th house love is absolutely transcendent and there is an element of complete selflessness and grace. He taught me how to love someone selflessly, without need of reciprocation, and he showed me what true grace means. He seemed to have boundless compassion, forgiveness, and grace for me - all 12th house things. I still live as if he is with me and strive to honor him in all that I do, even though we are both married to other people now.
