Topic: Help! DW Chiron, Nodes, Saturn in synastry + composite - my Saturn Return

I'm going through my Saturn Return (Aqua, 8th) squaring my sun (Taurus, 11th). (Many themes from Saturn square repeating!) I am already in a committed relationship with someone else. I have to leave this person in a few weeks, I'm heartbroken. What to do? I would like to hold onto him if only online, but not sure if I'm just clinging to an ideal... This is all very triggering with my Saturn Return squaring my Sun and Pluto Rx squaring my Moon, I cried all day yesterday. So pathetic. Please help. I'm having trouble putting it all together and understanding if I should let go or not.I know the orbs are wide on Chiron/SN, but healing/mentoring in those themes have already come up. Synastry (I'm outside)

My ascendant also on his Chiron/Jupiter
DW Saturn conjunct NN
Oppositions between personal planets
His Uranus/Vesta on my NN
My Pluto and Vertex on his Moon
His Venus/Lilith opposite my Moon/Venus and Mercury/Juno

Composite:
Moon and Saturn conjunct NN (moon ruling the SN, Saturn ruling NN)
Chiron and Venus conjunct SN
Pluto in the 8th and unaspected Mars
Ruler of NN in sign of SN, ruler of SN in house of NN. Composite SN same sign as my natal SN, same house as ruled by his natal SN.
Anything else significant I'm missing?

I can't tell if he feels more for me than others with all his Sag/Libra flirtatiousness with women. He knows I have a partner and will be leaving soon, so I think he doesn't see the point. I'm heartbroken.
I feel like Saturn is testing my commitment to my partner and to my work as well as my tendency to idealize/romanticize people. I feel we have already helped each other so much and there's a lot of potential for personal growth through one another. Virgos always become my closest friends, usually TOO close without boundaries, but we always meet and then part for a long time and then later, suddenly, become addicted to one another. I guess I just want to know if this is like that, and if I should try to keep in touch with him or let go. IP: Logged |

Hi sashavittoria :)I notice these aspects in composite: Sun-Mercury conjunction
applying Moon-Pluto square
separating Mars-Pluto quincunx
separating Sun-Uranus opposition
applying Sun-Neptune opposition
Venus-Chiron conjunct South Node
Saturn conjunct North Node The Node aspects look bittersweet or painful to me, like separating in the face of longing for & empathising with each other, but maybe the Saturn-Node aspect could just signify that to move forward or continue connecting through separation, there will need to be a sober accounting of your real situations, like a delineation of where you both stand, circumstantially and/or emotionally ... Wow livvy thank you for looking at this again! Thanks to you I noticed so much more I hadn't before...When you say applying/separating, do you mean whether the planets are approaching or moving away from an exact aspect? Your interpretation is, as usual, completely spot-on... Do you think all the Saturn aspects, especially to the North Node in both synastry and composite, indicate something lasting? IP: Logged |

Hi sashavittoria, yes I do mean that with applying & separating, I think it’s determined by the faster moving planet, if it is approaching or moving away from the slower moving planet I feel that maybe separating aspects in a composite could reflect some kind of “background feeling” or sense to the interaction, whereas applying aspects could reflect tensions or issues which more actively play out, though I’m not 100% solid on that for me, the sense I get from your charts is certainly that you will make, or have made, a lasting impression on each other, & an impactful/meaningful connection, & from my perspective, the rest depends on us as I don’t see astrology deterministically, hope this helps :) IP: Logged | |
