I matched with this guy on Tinder and we hit it off he’s into astrology.

I noticed that his Saturn is in my 7th house though. I asked him if we could be friends.

Oh, don't you love Saturn aspects??? They bring stability, commitment, trust, peace at last. And then goals, hard work, great works, achievements. Expansion, growth, prosperity. Saturn contacts, especially in 7th or 4th House or in nodes, are very fortunate for me.

Oh, square to the nodes for example? That makes it impossible to live without the other person, even when there are obstacles from outside. What a Karmic connection!

Damn, I have this with my partner, his Saturn conjunt my North Node, my Saturn squaring to his North Node. So many obstacles and its been like that for years, we always end up being together again from outside. I feel it.

Nooo idea, I just know I had it conjunct DSC with an ex.

It squared my Sun as well. From what I observed it was hard for him to let go of our relationship - it was a difficult one but he put in the work by staying. I can see he was struggling being the Saturn and it could be that his Saturn only makes aspect to Mars (trine) even though it isn't afflicted. He could be critical of my approach in handling things and was emotionally reactive that I didn't handle it well. So he felt he wasn't "respected". However he was responsible in a sense he took care of paper work for us. I feel he doesn't enjoy being Saturn despite having Venus Cap. His Jupiter is more prominent.

Usually from his previous relationship he would get up and leave. For us, it took him a while. He was dedicated in that perspective.

I'm currently dating someone and this time Saturn conjunct DSC from 6th house and sq my Sun... He also wants to make our relationship work and make time to hang out even though he has a busy schedule. He's very giving and I can tell you I feel he comes off fatherly... He helps me set appointment for covid shot and took care of other stuff like giving me a blanket and make sure I'm not hungry. Reading this sounds weird but it's not weird in anyway it just sounds weird read. He can come off stern but not critical. Just stern in a caring way. But it seems natural for him as he has Sun/Saturn conjunct in Cap. He seems comfortable with Saturn and it isn't afflicted.

What I notice is for both, from the moment they met me in person, they feel we were destined and likely want to establish a future or a relationship with me quite quickly. They also seem to put effort and investment in the relationship in their own way. Depending on how the Saturn plays in their chart, they may play out positively or negatively. Also how accustom they are to Saturn energy. The 2nd guy seem to be working hard from the getgo so he's used to being "responsible" while the 1st guy is used to being care-free and avoid responsibilities such as taking care of his own dog. So i think it plays a role

I agree that it depends on the Saturn aspects in the natal chart. He has Saturn conjunct Venus, Saturn square North Node, Saturn opposite Chiron and Saturn conjunct Mercury. And he has Saturn and Venus in the 4th house.
We haven't met in person yet I'm kind of cautious because he has his Mars conjunct my Moon.
