I was wondering if anyone could give me an insight into these charts, thoughts would be much appreciated. I feel a strong and meaningful connection but worry about the Sun Square Neptune which I have seen warnings about. Do the other aspects help?

Hi pandora123,

looking at the Composite, this looks very difficult to work out, even if there's a strong mental connection and South Node/Moon gives intense feelings, but Mars is square to the Venus/Saturn midpoint, and quincunx Uranus, with Uranus square Chiron... so it seems committment is an issue on his part, or other priorities in your lives would make things very unstable. maybe physical distance or periods of distance can also be an issue, creating coldness. With Jupiter square Pluto you either share professional environment, or professional priority can interfere and become divisive.

Hi Stoika7,

Thank you for your thoughts, that seems to resonate because our communication has been on and off. The guy is struggling with mental and personal hardships, and at the moment I am wary of keeping in close contact for fear of getting hurt. So it has been me that has put things on hold for now, even though in my heart I did not want to - I miss him dearly and feel like I have a deep mutual understanding with this person. Does anyone have any elaborations on the synastry?

I guess he's the blue one in synastry? if so, he has sun conjunct saturn, Pluto quincunx Mars, Mars square Neptune and Chiron square Uranus exact. he may have been victim of abuse or traumatic events frustrating his personality and suffers for guilty feelings or unconscious escapism. there's something he's unable to face inside himself, cause it's too heavy. Saturn conjunct to an Aries Sun looks like a big burden blocking the expression of their Sun... this is attached to your Sun/Venus, so while a strong bond can be felt (and built), it looks like a burden to you as well. Your Chiron is opposite to his Sun/Mars midpoint, so you may trigger his wounds and his lack of assertiveness. Your Pluto is also quincunx to his Mars so that's why you fear to get hurt, and it's likely so. His Mars/Saturn midpoint is square to your Neptune, so he likely won't be up for committing to you, for whatever reason... it looks clearly like a struggle because your Pluto conjunction is trine to your Saturn and his Moon is trine to your Sun/Venus and his Sun/Saturn, so there's intense feelings and potential strong affection, but other elements are challenging...
The Composite, with Chiron square Uranus/Uranus quincunx Mars, mainly says that his issues are an obstacle...

Yes Stoika he's in the blue. He definitely has experienced hardships that are still affecting him deeply. So based on the conflict between intense feelings and the other difficult elements, do you think this is not worth pursuing romantically any further? I initially thought that the Saturn conjuct Sun was a good indicator but am very new to astrology.

Sun/Venus conjunct Sun/Saturn can create a strong bond but it also means that you also take his burden (in this context).

Re-looking at the composite, Moon/Saturn midpoint is conjunct Venus and trine Pluto. Moon/Jupiter midpoint is square Pluto. The Venus/Mars midpoint is trine North Node.
So there's potential intense feelings and intimacy, and also potential healing for him.
Neptune square Sun/Mercury with Chiron square Uranus may be quite frustrating as he may not be up to really share and open up with you, so he basically may escape such intense intimacy with you. Since South Node is conjunct Moon, there may be detachment at one point.
I guess much depends on his will to fully embrace your connection and committment.
It would be important to have his TOB to see the angles for long term and committment potential...
