So, I've always been interested in astrology and decided to truly study it in depth this past year. Currently, I'm that person friends go to when they want a reading or something similar, even though I tell them I'm still not very good. I have this very good friend (female) who's super into this guy and she asked me to read their synastry chart and their composite chart. I did a superficial reading, but I'm not very experienced yet, so I thought you guys could give some suggestions/points of reference for what me and friend should be paying attention to. Here are the charts. She gave me permission to post them and she's looking forward to what you have to say. My friend is the Libra Sun, Scorpio Moon. The dude is Scorpio Sun, Taurus Moon. Synastry:

They have composite Sun/Pluto square Moon, so this is clearly emotionally very intense. Uranus/Saturn is square to MC though, and Venus square to Neptune, so this is hardly going to be a serious committed relationship in my opinion. Chiron in 7th house square Mars may point to strong insecurity about committment. Mars/Venus midpoint is square to Neptune and Chiron, so there may be strong infatuation but it looks short lived or not seriously committed. IP: Logged |

Ahh, thanks so much for replying and for pointing out those aspects. Chiron aspects are still a bit of a mystery to me because I never studied them in depth, so this is very helpful. You're right on the money about the commitment. There's a whole lot of drama about that going on already, which is partly why my friend asked me to read the charts. Anything else of interest? Any potential potential red flags besides the commitment issues? Dunno if it helps, but the guy is a piece of work. He's a tortured artist with mommy issues and he's also a cheater. My friend is on the other side of the spectrum. They have some aspects that I find so strange. In Natal, his Nemesis conjuncts his Venus. And his Venus conjuncts her Ascendant. I kind of feel this odd vibe that he resents her even though he's the one who chases her all the freaking time. IP: Logged |

Yes, he has natal Neptune square Mars conjunct to her Venus and composite Venus square Neptune, the cheating and trust issue is clearly there and he's likely wishing for a friends with benefit kind of affair. Nemesis conjuntc Venus to her ASC may mainly point to the fact that he's attracted to her but he's not committing to her. His Chiron is square to her Chiron, so this has emotional abusive potential. North Node is trine to Neptune so there may be an high idealization likely linked to shared creative areas, and the composite Pluto/Sun square Moon is clearly going to give emotional turmoil, jelousy, obsession. It looks passionate but very unstable, transiting Saturn is square to composite Pluto and transiting nodes are square to the nodes, tr. Uranus opposite Pluto/Sun, so there's likely power struggle and I'm afraid it's not going to last too long, when tr. Saturn retrograde is square to composite Sun may be a break up dealer. Awesome! I'm going to study these aspects more in depth, and share them with my friend. She's aware that I think this guy is headache-inducing material and this relationship has potential for trouble, but other opinions are always welcome.Thanks for taking your time and giving your insight, I really appreciate it.
