Topic: Mars - Pluto contacts in synastry, hatred or attraction?

I always wondered with this contact if it really means hatred or attraction, particularly if Trined or Conjunct. I could never figure it out and keep hearing mixed things.Also, when you stack it up against other contacts like say Mars-Venus or Venus-Pluto, how intense is it as far as attraction is concerned? in the case of mars/pluto square, it's very tense and some hatred can occur combined with attraction. but i'd say this has to be supported by the rest of synastry and both individuals. in my experience, someone's pluto squared my:
venus
mars
jupiterand the hatred was there yes, so was the attraction but we had mars squares again, to venus, mars and jupiter. a single aspect won't cause hatred. i do have a mars/pluto trine with someone as well and it's not as psychologically violent because he's simply not such a person. obsession doesn't lack with any pluto aspect but it takes much more than just one if the person isn't plutonian at all. With my husband, we have: Mars (him) trine Pluto (me) & Venus (me) trine Pluto (him). Mars (him) trine Venus (me).With my ex, we have: Mars (him) opposite Pluto (me) & Mars-Venus DW Opposition and Sextile. Which one having a lot of attraction? With the ex. Which one I prefer having a relationship? With my husband since soft aspect is flowing aspect. For me, Mars-Venus especially the hard aspect is a hot attraction, like a yin-yang attraction. Venus-Pluto is more like a secret attraction. Which one is more intense? Venus-Pluto, since a lot of psychological things can be happened for better or worse. In my experience, hatred easily comes from Moon/Pluto aspect. Natally I don't have that aspect, neither my husband. We also don't have it in synastry aspect. BUT we have that Moon/Pluto aspect in a composite, and now I know where does this strong intense emotion coming in our relationship. IP: Logged |

Based on personal experience, Mars-Pluto is more of sexual attraction than love or hate. It can be seriously intense when ANGER comes to play. I have had Mars conjunct Pluto twice. First time it was not fulfilling and was definitely about power struggles. Still is, as he is my ex and father of my children. Second time was lovely. Passion, love, and fulfilling. But it didn't work, and I guess those peer struggles showed again but in different ways. This second relationship was much more binding and magnetic than the first, though both were magnetic. Intoxicating. IP: Logged |

In the Venus/mars dw thread I talked about three people I shared the trine with. I’d say all 3 had a pretty intense push/pull effect but I wouldn’t say love hate.I did date a guy for awhile though.We shared conjunct plutos that trined our Venus/mars conjunction as well. His nn picked up the third leg and it was intense from the start. There was definitely a strong romantic love bond and as things become comfortable it quickly turned bad. He became possessive of my time and jealous. It really turned me off and I started to resent him. It took awhile to break up as his obsession grew so quickly from completely loving to overwhelmingly insecure that I didn’t know how to make a clean break. We were both very young and there were a lot of emotions. We started a friendship after some time apart but I will say I know he never felt hate for me. Only intense love. And despite my resentment and fear of hurting him I will always have love for him as well. IP: Logged |

I am very Mars and Plutonian. I love angry sex with my husband. One of the best times we've ever had sex was after his grandpa's funeral. His mom continued to pester me to set a date for my husband's wedding. I let her know that husband has more free time than I do, so take it up with him to set the damn wedding date and leave me alone. I was furious , and sick of dealing with this for all his family functions. I was really drunk and was telling my husband off really bad on the car ride home. When we got to the cabin. He was telling me that I am acting all angry because I want to get effed really bad. I then called him a "French *** " he said "what did you say to me?" and then I was all like "blablabla bla bla, you FRENCH *** FACE" and then he slapped my face good. Face slapping sounds scary to me. Is that stuff still going on with you?The old chestnut I'd like to ask - If someone has it in their natal, what's going on when someone innocently comes along with the generational Pluto and hooks into their Pluto trine Mars? The natal person that has it, must be accustomed and skilled with this aspect, right? They must have heaps of people falling into the obsessive passion dynamic with them?
