How would you interpret the following situation:

a progressed natal Dsc of one of partners conjuncts the composite Uranus (or progressed composite Uranus since they are close)

Would that necessarily mean a breakup due to the partner with Dsc?

Yeah, at the same time his progressed Moon is going through this conjunction of his progressed Dsc & composite Uranus, and all that square to his natal Nodes.

Is this breakup for sure, maybe because of a different relationship?

At the same time her progressed Venus is on his progressed North Node and later getting on his natal North Node. It is also within 1*30 orb square his progressed Dsc, his progressed Moon and the composite Uranus.

Her Venus is the ruler of her 7th, and Uranus is the ruler of the 1st in their composite.

His progressed Venus just went through his natal Sun and Vertex on her progressed MC.
