Simple, he puts his giant Capricorn stellium in your 8th house and fills it to the brim.

Anyone putting planets in your 8th house makes the house person (in this case, you) obsessed with them, and haunted by the memory of them long afterwards.

Someone put their Sun and Mercury into my 8th house once and even 6 years later I still probably think about them once a day

Okay transit-wise I can see why you want to reach out

Transiting Uranus (the planet of unpredictability/fast chemistry/lack of convention) is currently conjunct the composite Sun. So it could be reanimating the relationship you had with him in full bloom in both of your minds right now. So I'd say that it would be effecting him in particular if the composite Sun is a reflection of the man.

Transit Uranus is actually forming a fixed grand cross between the composite Sun, c. Pluto, c. IC and c. MC. So it makes sense why the themes of obsession (c. Pluto) are suddenly (t. Uranus) popping out and flaring up in particular right now.

Though I should caution you that transit Mercury in Gemini is square transit Neptune right now, which means a lot of things we're all collectively thinking about could have a delusional bent.

Has he really been on your mind in particular since mid-May 2021 until now? This could be an influence of Mercury square Neptune.

Oh yeah, the transiting nodes in Gemini/Sagittarius are exactly square the composite's nodes (and loosely conjunct the composite's ASC/DSC axis). So... no, I don't think it's one sided, I think it's mutual, I think you are both thinking about each other right now.

However, I will caution you and say I personally think you are more invested in this relationship than him, but yes you are probably picking up on him thinking about you at the moment.

Ahh gotcha, I honestly relate so much with everything you said with my 8th house synastry person too! It is complex and yeah I often feel like reaching out to someone out of nowhere is often a slight against my dignity as well. Hopefully you'll find closure in this relationship sooner rather than later <3

It’s only because you never got closure. That’s why it still bothers you and you still think about him.

Remember, time causes the mind to play tricks on you regarding ex’s. You will start to forget the bad and only remember the good. It’s psychologically proven.

Plus it doesn’t help you have your 7th ruler in the 12th house, so you definitely fantasize and the idea of unrequited love/longing is actually appealing to you in a way this aspect in your chart. It’s a very difficult one to have. You’ll never feel truly satisfied in any relationship because of the ruler being in the 12th, it’s a very difficult energy and need to fulfill. You’re way too idealistic and also detached at the same time. You love better from afar, in secret, hidden and have a lot of inner fantasies and scenarios you will play in your mind/subconscious. And a lot of masochist tendencies in love/relationships.

I see Venus or 7th lord in a lot of people who never marry or always have relationship issues. 12th house is extremely difficult house.

The first thing I saw was Jupiter in your 12th House. Agree with Lunal; this is not really about your ex, moreso a 12th House narrative that you’re fundamentally attached to; far away places, spiritual pilgrimages, etc

You may be able to satisfy your longing for “him” by immersing yourself in studying spiritual-knowledge(s) from a different culture than your own (other-world-ly) and/or participate in charitable work. Or plain traveling (for the purpose of seeking wisdom/peace).

Saturn aspecting the 7th House typically means a late marriage; after the ages of 35-36, when the planet has fully matured. Marriage (contracts) established before 34 tend to end in divorce. Hang in there!

A remedy for delay in partnership, for your chart in particular, will be to practice fasting on Mondays—indefinitely.

Question: did you parents conceive you somewhere during their travel?

I asked out of curiosity because Jupiter in 12th House means that parents conceived in a place different than native’s birth

This is super interesting Van, is this a Vedic signification? Where did you learn this and what’s the logic behind it?

Does this mean I will never marry and be single forever?
I really want a stable relationship and to have children but as I near my mid thirties I find it more and more difficult.

Is there anything I can do to overcome these issues? I will post my chart

Like Vansio mentioned, Saturn in your 7th house conjunct DSC is the reason for the marriage delay. Uranus in the 7th as well is another hard aspect, and it makes relationship unstable and usually unconventional as well. Saturn’s energy mixing with Uranus is difficult to reconcile, get both your needs and preferences in relationships met at the same time. This is all exacerbated by the 7th ruler Jupiter in the 12th, plus Jupiter is opposing Pluto as well. So you have a tendency towards needing excitement, passion, and stimulation or else you get bored (uranus), and you also have a tendency towards power struggles and even issue of control, obsession, possessiveness from either you, your partners or both. Turmoil/ups and downs is going to be a theme with Pluto opp Jupiter (7th lord) and Uranus in the 7th, with 8th lord Saturn also sitting in the 7th.

When you have outer planet energies connected to your 7th house, this is difficult since these energies are
1: very strong/powerful
2: transpersonal/out of reach/impractical and hard to fulfill in the form of another person/relationship, especially in a healthy way.

You have complex, multilayered needs in a relationship and what you’re looking for. It’s going to be hard to find the “perfect” person for you, that’s why I’m not surprised you said none you wanted to settle down with long-term (7th house). You actually have strong commitment phobic tendencies, Saturn in the 7th makes you take commitment very seriously and it can scare you. Plus Uranus there makes you like a certain level of freedom/independence in your relationships.
See how all these energies sort of contradict themselves? So it manifests as a chronic sense of dissatisfaction in your relationships, because it’s like when one need is met, the other isn’t. This is why I was saying you love better from afar and in your own fantasies etc. it feels safer and more comfortable for you. You can idealize and romanticize your ex now, because there’s a detached, isolated, private element and you can’t get hurt that way. In the bubble of your own mind, it can’t be popped or ruined by reality and the element of suffering/loss/sacrifice (12th house) actually makes your 7th lord happy as it’s familiar, even if not productive or healthy; it’s comfortable. I guarantee if you actually were interacting with him in a day to day basis in a relationship again (your 7th house), you wouldn’t feel so strongly as it’s easier for your needs to be met thru your 7th lord than your actual DSC. I hope this makes sense. It’s like a maladaptive defence mechanism.

So my advice is to consciously realize this, figure out the WHY. Meditate on it. Journal. Therapy could help too. Remember why you broke up in the first place. Start to do some soul searching and figure out how to reconcile your partnership needs in a way that works for you. Even if that’s staying single. Not everyone NEEDS or is cut out for relationships. I’m not saying you aren’t, but you need to learn yourself more and heal these past baggage issues better and then you’ll be able to have a healthy fulfilling relationship

Like Vansio said, wait until Saturn matures. Middle age, late 30’s to early 40’s is when you’ll probably find your person in the meantime, enjoy other aspects of your life and work on yourself so that when you do meet your person, you won’t self-sabotage the relationship if you haven’t worked thru your 7th house.
Doesn’t mean you can’t still date, but just don’t expect anything serious or for it to stick until Saturn is ready to reward you for putting in the work
Always remember, our Birthcharts are something our souls chose to incarnate with for a reason. It’s not coincidence this is your chart, relationships are the main lessons/karma (Saturn/12th house) your soul wanted to focus on and heal this time around. Our biggest challenges always offer the greatest growth and ultimate good in the end/big picture. Keep this positive and self compassionate and loving mindset and it will help you navigate everything so much easier/faster.

Also look into cord cutting and trauma bonding and get your chakra/energy checked out by a healer/reiki expert in your area. Sounds like you definitely have some energy cords attached to him on your side still that need clearing and releasing. You could have some chakra blockages too keeping you stuck in the past on him.
Good luck and best wishes to you in your healing journey. It’s worth it ❤️

I just happened here and saw Anthanaia say ”in your 8th house and fills it to the brim.”

So this is new to me. As getting attached any way. Interesting. It looks accurate for myself and others.
I suppose anytime a transit hits a luminary, planet in another's 8th, that may really activate what seemed dead.

Yes it a Vedic technique; coincides with the whole sign sidereal zodiac. I learned it from watching Lunar Astro; he practices mainly Lal Kitab. The house and sign of Jupiter shows the environment of one’s conception. English portion of video begins at 18:26
