im not sure i got how the mars neptune could play out.you mean weak efforts from his side(because mars represent the man ??)

so the moon is the main planet i should check
in progressed chart??

also that mars saturn opposition
looks very harsh
and we already have it in synastry

I don’t have the practice of assigning certain planets to only men. Composite is describing the relationship as a whole, not who does what. That’s synastry.

Mars-Neptune hard aspects can indicate that one or both of you don’t approach your desires in clear direct ways, thus can confuse and mislead each other.

Yes, always check the prog comp Moon first. It moves 1deg per month. The other inner planets move 1deg per year so you can have a prog comp Venus square Uranus for several years.
