Topic: Can a relationship work with Moon Square Pluto synastry!?

There's this guy who ive been friends with for a year now and we have moon square pluto together. I am the pluto and he's the moon. We became extremely close immediately from the first day we met and it's the hardest connection to let go of. We're practically like best friends so whenever we're mad with one another, it drives me crazy not speaking to him. So my question is can a relationship work with this aspect?? IP: Logged |

Any relationship can be worked out. It depends on how you handle it.You need to understand Moon square Pluto dynamic in a relationship first, then think if you can handle it for a long run. You can search from other resources about Moon square Pluto synastry. It also depends on your natal chart and the other person's natal chart. Do you and the other person have Moon/Pluto too or not? Are you and the other person plutonian or not? Do you and the other person have pisces or cancer or maybe libra in natal chart to help smooth the Pluto relationship? And the most important thing is, are you and the other person mature enough to be in Pluto relationship? Pluto relationship is not for a faint of heart, there will always some toxic pattern in the relationship. At first it feels right as it creates strong feelings, then you realize it is too much and it depends on you whether you keep enjoyed it or run before it's too late. Pluto relationship will always transform you for better or worse. I have Moon square Pluto in Composite with my husband, I've read it's similar with the synastry but the difference is the composite energy happens when we try to work things up together and simply it is best to avoid us to work things up together as a couple. Well he's a Pisces Sun and I have Cancer on my rising so I guess that does help smooth it out. Pluto is definitely not for the faint hearted but we both share Moon-Pluto aspects so that's why we have the Moon Square Pluto. We also have the Opposition but it's 6 degrees wide and a trine in our composite as well. We became close really fast and were pretty much inseparable. I'm not the clingy type but it was hard not being around him.. it's like I was intoxicated by him! But fast forward to now, we're not speaking at the moment because I told him we are better off as friends which he didn't like. This is the second time we have cut off contact with each other and the last time we stopped speaking for 2 hard months. So now I'm afraid this may become a cycle between us and I don't think I can handle it. Maybe I'm not cut out for this kind of connection 😔 IP: Logged |

Im also interested in knowing if this can work out. I hear so many bad things about this aspect.What other aspects do you guys have? Any sweet/romantic ones?I have this aspect double whammy with the guy I like. And it's in the composite as well. Add to the fact that we also have mars square pluto, venus trine pluto. So I would say pretty Plutonian. I must say I have a love hate relationship with the descriptions of pluto relationships. I love how it makes you feel such a connection and passion but I dont like the bad side of pluto at all. And apparently they go together. So it's like, how can we really see this relationship for how it might be before jumping in? Like literally right now, even reading red flags in the description of moon/pluto you fall so hard that you tend to not even care about the possible damage, and then if it actually happens how much will we regret it? I dont know... but all I know is that this moon/pluto is no joke. Like it makes you risk it all lol like even now with this guy, despite the pluto I wouldnt think twice about saying yes to him. My moon conjunct jupiter is pretty strong so the optimist in me wants to believe that it wont be bad or wed be a special circumstance lol but I feel like Im really not thinking it through. Eh we can overthink everything so what really matters is to probably take a good look at him. Is he a kind person that you dont see would hurt you? If you allow your intuition to take over you can probably get a feel of him. Look at his chart and see if there any red flags in HIS chart.
Luckily me and the guy I like are Pisces dominants. We both have stelliums, me in Pisces and Aquarius and him in Pisces, Scorpio, and Saggitauris which is why I think our synastry is so intense. Nothing but conjunctions and sqaures.

How come you told him you guys are better off as friends? See this is that moon/pluto at work already! Do you really mean it? I would say you really dont, but are playing push and pull. It depends on the natal charts I have Moon square Pluto in my natal. I have Moon/Pluto with basically everyone. And I hardly feel it unless it's amplified by something else in the synastry. Like if my Moon is in the other person's 8th house. If you have this aspect yourself you'll probably be drawn to it. But maybe won't feel it with everyone. It just depends on the natal and other aspects in the synastry.Now that I've felt the energy I don't really want to be involved with anyone else if I don't feel that kind of intensity. But it may be more so my Moon being in their 8th house. It's hard for me to tell the difference. Because their Pluto is on my Moon and my Moon is in their 8th house. So I can't really be sure which one is causing it. I guess it's probably a combination of both. IP: Logged |

We do have some good aspects like moon trine mars, moon conjunct south node, sun trine jupiter and ascendant. And in our composite, we also have Venus trine Pluto exact, Moon trine Pluto and Sun Square Pluto. Very plutonic! So I can agree with wanting to risk it all because of the intensity of it. I honestly believe there's no way in fighting it and that it's meant to be lived out whether you stay together or not. The connection is so intoxicating and intense from the start and you become extremely close so fast to where it feels like this person is your bestfriend. I just hate when bad pluto comes into play because that's how it starts a cycle of manipulation and power games which ruins everything. IP: Logged |

SoulOfABird, I deep down really don't mean it but I can't continue to feel hurt by this push and pull energy. Like one minute we're doing really GREAT and then something petty happens to where we stop talking. I would love to spend the rest of my life with this man if it's possible. But the way things are going, I don't know if it will happen. Regardless, I will always love him no matter what.

ChildofVenus, yes you're right about him having Moon Square Pluto with everyone but we do have Moon Conjunct South Node and Moon trine Mars. I think that contributes a lot to our intense emotions. Honestly, I only feel this aspect with one person. But it's because of other things in our synastry. You're right having other things makes a difference. It sucks because it doesn't feel the same with everyone. IP: Logged |
