He has been married before and has teenagers, I have never been married, no kids. I have 4 college degrees, he graduated from high school. He works a blue collar job, I work a white collar job. I like to travel and fly everywhere, he rarely travels and has never flown. He was "bad" in school, I was a "goody-goody". He was with the same woman since he was 16 up until a few years ago and I have dated around a bit with only two long term relationships.

But, our personalities are so similar. He is the smartest man I've ever "met" ("met" because we haven't met in person yet), we are both fairly conservative people (nothing to do with politics, we are just "prudes"), just our overall attitudes and personalities are very similar (that is, weird personalities).

He is actually the first guy that's actually been into astrology and past lives and magical, mystical stuff. He actually thinks that we were meant to be together and that this isn't our first go-round with each other. He feels that we were engaged in another life and that he was killed before we got to be married. I've never had a man that would say that, or think that, ever before. Perhaps it's his Venus conjunct my SN and Anti-Vertex?

Our synastry isn't great. We do have quite a few midpoint conjunctions/oppositions though. For example my Sun is opposite his Venus/Mars MP (and creates a yod in synastry) and his Saturn is conjunct my Venus/Mars MP (not great, but...). Plus, a lot of parallels and contra-parallels.

Something interesting too, the Syzygy (not even sure of what that is, but I saw it on a midpoint calculation site) before he was born was at 7Leo, which is the degree of my Sun and my Syzygy is conjunct his Sun, although, with an orb of 3 degrees.

Something else interesting: In my natal chart, his name asteroid is conjunct my Groom asteroid (orb 2) and in his natal chart, my name asteroid is partile conjunct his Briede. It's also in the 9th house (second marriage...hmm...).

With that said, there are plenty of non twin soul connections that share one or both of these. It's more of an all level thing, with a predominance of a lot of opposite Sign, and to a slightly lesser extent, a lot of same Sign interaction between especically different symbols.

My partner of 20 years is my twin soul no questions asked. I have Cap Sun and Merc, Leo Rising, Libra Moon, 7th House Aqua Venus (and Desc), N. Node, Jupiter, Mars, and Saturn in Virgo, and Scorpio IC/Taurus MC. (I am predominantly Jupitarian planet wise).

She has Aquarius Sun, Venus (in first, closest Planet to her Asc), and South Node, Capricorn Rising, Aries Moon, Pisces Mercury and Mars, chart ruler, Saturn in Libra conjunct Libra Jupiter, Taurus IC/Scorp MC. She is predominantly Venusian planet wise.

As you can see, most of our strongest Signs are either opposite or same Sign. And indeed, we are both quite different and yet very similar in some core ways as well. I only know of a handful or so of cases where I'm pretty sure that the two people share a twin soul connection and are also romantically involved, but that is the most common overall pattern. For a couple brief examples, a woman has Scorpio Sun and Moon, Leo Rising and her partner has Aqua Sun and Scorpio Moon. Another example, one person has Cancer Asc and Jupiter and Virgo Moon and the other has Cap Sun, Virgo Asc and Cancer Moon.
