Specifically for:
- Natal
- Composites
- Transits / Progressions
- Solar Returns

Is there a best practices house system for each of these types of charts? Should you ALWAYS use the same house system, or should specific charts apply certain house system methods that have evidenced to be best for that specific type of chart?

For example, I read somewhere that Placidus typically resonates and reflects best with Natals, however Whole Sign has been said to be most accurate for predictions via Transits & Progressions.

Is any one house system really correct, or is Astrology just a language with many different dialects?

I am aware that a VERY old thread on this exact topic exists somewhere here on this site, but I'd like to embrace some fresh thinking

Thoughts, opinions, and personal experiences welcome!

I found the whole house system to work somehow best in transits.

I agree with the last answer. I think unless you are real familiar with your own chart, the whole sign version is clearest. Trying to cipher through nuances, once your knowledge is keen and gets a firm look @basic view, there are good reasons to use both placidus and others.
