Geez, I nosebleed every time I think of Eros/Psyche, this is one of my favorite soulmate pairs. (and of course, Pluto/persephone too.. maybe I have a thing for abductions? XD ok I'll stop the off-topic lol)

Oh well, in his <my name> persona chart, the MC is conjunct my natal Moon/Venus/Mercury/BML. And in my <his name> natal chart, the entire Sagittarius stellium is around his natal MC.

His <my name> persona chart/His natal chart:
- my Sun in his Sun/Moon midpoint - love this X3 interestingly, the shorter version of my name falls on his DC in his natal chart too.
- our Moons are both in Pisces, in his 1st house, and trine his Saturn - my natal Moon is in Aries, but I have Pisces DC. My emotions are definitely Arian, but they do have some Pisces flavor, specially when it's about others lol (well, DC represents how we are in our relationships too). I guess that this shows that he might feel affinity and similarity between our emotions?
- my Moon square his Uranus and my Venus/Uranus conjunct his Uranus - I'm exciting and unpredictable, yet also unstable and impulsive for him?
- my Mars in his 8th house conjunct his Pluto - :P
- My AC in his 6th house - I'm part of his daily routine?
- My SN conjunct his SN/Jupiter/MC - I'm not sure how to interpret this.. maybe he thinks that our life paths are similar? This aspect doesn't resonate lol~

I don`t view Cupido as Eros` "counterpart", that would be Psyche (as I define "counterpart" as his complimentary, well, counterpart lol).

Cupido is a form of Eros, so of course there is this connection.

YET, there is a difference.
Eros was a powerful force, long before the Romans "domestified" him and made him part of the pantheon (well the Greeks did so).
But actually in more ancient times Eros was seen as the creating force of the universe, and just after a certain time in later versions of mythology he became son of Aphrodite and Ares.

Anyway in his role as son of Aphrodite he was split up once again into two Gods: Cupido and Amor.
Amor seems to represent the more loving, gentle, emotional side of Eros, while Cupido is more on the playful, sensual side.

All in all I think Eros himself is stronger than Amor or Cupido, BUT they are relevant, too, just not as allencompassing as Eros. Or maybe not allencompassing, but certain characteristics of Eros are missing in Amor and Cupido, like the "spark of life" for example.
Because of the mix of sexual drive and emotion, which is prominent in Eros, he seems to be more passionate than the other ones.
But Cupido also is derived from the Latin word for "desire", and Amor is the Latin word for "love".
So cupido and Amor both represent one side of Eros, while Eros includes both things, desire and love.

BTW did oyu ever notice that if you read Eros backwards, it gives the word: "sore"?

But coming back to the topic, yes, I would look at Cupido. I think it gives that "zing" moment / feeling.
