Do venus only get activated when you have romantic interest? For example venus in pisces is uber emotional but is it only with people they like romantically otherwise it is the moon who would be activated with other people? Is this right assessment? ThanksIP: Logged |

No, because Venus is not just about romance, but she correlates to and symbolizes personal love and interconnection in general. What most call romance is an odd admixture of primarily Venus (personal love, liking, harmony, interconection), Mars (lust, passion, etc), and Moon (emotional attachment, past connection, material and/or emotional "needs" fulfillment, a more subtle, passive, and Yin/feminine sexuality as compared to very Yang, active, and red Mars, etc). Course there is often more to it than that, but we are talking general archetype here. Some people need strong Mercury or stronger Jupiter, or Pluto, Neptune, or the like to feel a more intense romantic connection. IP: Logged |

Lol no sweat for correction.I have gemini sun& mercury + virgo ascendant but never bother with small irrelevant details 😛😛😛 So a venus in pisces is emotional and shy to everyone not just his crush? I never understand this aqua man with venus in pisces.. he gets more emo than me when i share stuff to him.. he literally shakes.. weird stuff he has moon in taurus. Mars in virgo. Our Venus indicates more so, what we like and are attracted to in others in a general sense. But for predominantly straight men in particular, Venus also signifies, along with Moon and Desc, what he is most attracted to in a potential female partner. So he rather likes Pisces energy in general, but especially in women/a partner. With predominantly straight women, it is a bit reversed according to old astrological rules. Venus shows what she is generally attracted to and likes in others (as well as art, style, etc), but more so what she is willing to give to the man in a relationship, how she presents, behaves, treats him, etc some. So if you're a lucky lad like me and you fell in love with a woman who has Venus conjunct Saturn, then like me, you tend to get jack shite emotionally and vulnerability wise, especially since that same woman has Scorpio Moon conjunct Pluto, and Moon is also like Venus for women in this regard--indicates what she gives and relates to the partner. Is it any wonder for a guy with Moon conjunct Saturn and Desc and Venus in Aquarius square angular Scorpio Uranus... (funny how that works eh?). Anyways, back to you, your guy and situation, I hope you either have strong Neptune, strong Jupiter, and/or strong Pisces in your chart, because chances are if you don't, you won't make the longer term attraction cut. But then again, you also need to look at his Moon and Desc as well. If he has very strong Mercury or related symbols in connection to same, it can indicate a stronger and more lasting attraction to you. IP: Logged |

That’s very interesting. Thanks so much.I have moon in cancer if that counts and my descendant is pisces. But what is pisces energy? Soft, sweet, emotional?? Helpless? IP: Logged | |
