Okay, so last year I was in a relationship that absolutely obliterated me physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Instant connection, we were together within a matter of weeks but I broke up with him as it took nearly all my energy. I was pretty much depressed at the end of it.

I was feeling a little nostalgic over our relationship yesterday so I took a peek at our synastry again... then I saw it!

His chiron is 16 degrees in Gemini in the 4H. The exact same house aspect as my Moon. My moon is also conjunct 5 degrees with my SN so that adds a whole lot of spice to the mix!

Our Vertex's are also conjunct by 4 degrees in Virgo in the 7H. So destiny really did play her part. We also met at his workplace (virgo's way of matchmaking).

I'm perplexed at the significance of this conjunction. It explains an awful lot, but I'm curious to find other opinions as to what this could all mean.

note that you will see the moons degrees differently as I described above as I'm referring to the degrees in the house, not just the 'moon in sign' degrees.

What do you mean by degree in the house?

My biggest and most painful love thus far was with someone whom I shared a chiron/ moon and chiron/ mars conjunction in Virgo.

He broke my heart.

It's been almost 3 years since we broke up and I am still not completely over him. I still shed a tear from time to time, thinking about all the memories. His hometown was and still is nostalgic for me. I lived there for about 2 years and I truly believe a part of me will always remain. His family felt like my family, but in an alternate universe. It was almost weird lol. I'll never forget him and I hate that for me and my future partners. I am crying as a type this lol. This is the effects of chiron-moon in synastry (from my own experience, of course).

SN: How did he break my heart?

Long story short, mental illness is real and destroyed something beautiful.

Εxcuse me for a horrendously late reply and for not specificying what I meant.

My moon is actually 23 degrees Gemini but it sits in the 4H house at 16 degrees Gemini. It's my ex's chiron that matches the degrees of the house with moon in it rather than just the degrees of Gemini in the moon alone.

I hope this helps somewhat

This seems to be a very similar situation to me. He was an alcoholic, cocaine addict, compulsive liar and poor naive little me so was in love I was silly enough to think I could help. I only ended up destroying myself whereas he didn't even realise anything was even wrong in the relationship.

Love is a strange thing in the end. He also crosses my mind a lot still but I know better to stay the hell away from him. He's nothing but toxic.

I hope you find your peace with this connection In the end it was a beautiful thing that you had and i'm sure you learnt many valuable things from it <3

Most of the symbols mentioned are very strongly "past" oriented. Doesn't necessarily denote toxic though.

We can have very strong, past ("past life" and/or related) connections with others that were very positive, very negative, and/or very mixed bag.

But Moon, South Node, 4th House, etc are all very strongly connected to strong past connections. Hence, whether the connection was very positive, very mixed, or very negative in that past or those pasts, it tends to feel very familiar (and sometimes very comfortable) to us.

For example, I knew someone whose Moon is in my 4th conjunct the ruler of my Desc and Venus, my South Node is just out of conjunction orb with her Desc (and same Sign as her Venus and Saturn), my Moon is in her 1st and partakes in an opposition with her 7th House Venus-Saturn conjunction while being the opposite Sign of her Sun, my faster moving IC ruler is conjunct her Asc, her IC ruler is almost exactly conjunct my 5th House cusp and conjunct Neptune--ruler of my 8th.

Anyways, you probably get the picture, but yeah, when I first saw her in this life at a mutual friend's party, I did a double take as if my inner system was shocked. And she felt super familiar to me from the moment we first talked. I picked up pretty quickly the more exact karmic/past life connections between us, which at first and for awhile she seemed very interested by and open to, though she later mocked all this on social media to tear me down/rip into me (that hurt probably more than anything she ever did to or said about me, and she wasn't shy about disregarding me and my feelings in general).

The synchronicities between us were and have been ridiculous.
