I'm wondering why this fell apart so fast (per the title), and possibly if there's a chance for reconciliation?We were in the 'talking stage' for a bit, but almost as soon as we started dating it fell apart -- they thought it moved too fast and wanted to backtrack to being friends.(I actually didn't mind, despite my Cap venus). We're not talking anymore--they didn't follow through on the friend bit--and now it's taking me way longer than normal to get over this (at least for me). It felt like such a strong connection, and now I can't shake the feeling that they're going to come back. (Do I just need to get this 'fated' fantasy out of the back of my mind)? This may be because of the 2 yods making things seem difficult from the get-go, and the Venus conj. Neptune + the Venus conj. Uranus in the composite leading to idealization and instability. I was wondering what y'all think!

I'll try to look but can I rea you're adding the progress chart of you both for the time/date this occured? With the transits too? Looking at the first chart Nessus 3rd.. cnj Venus in 2nd. Were nasty words inflicted?

Moon, Thank you so much! I really appreciate it.  No nasty words…just a lot of candidness and almost 3 hours of talking. However, maybe the Nessus has to do with this?: After a while of them not following through on this friendship ‘plan’, I did send a (somewhat criticizing) message that I didn’t think it was working out — especially with lack of any effort. (To which they didn’t respond/completely disappeared— I admit that is somewhat killing my sense of closure here). Here are the charts. I hope these are the right ones! As you can tell, I’ve been a long-time reader but new at posting ;p. My progressions:

You're welcome. "Criticism" or perceived could be Nessus there again.. Your first chart (prog), I think they all seem blank.

Thank you. I'm looking but there's also an option to do a midpoint prog. So we could study also your combined energies with transits in Prog.

I'm not sure how I might see the reason. The 3rd houses/and/or Mercury aren't doing a lot. I'm uncertain of the transits on the prog above. I think the Nessus could be involved as we saw before. Idk if other's are here but Todd is one whom you might request. I'm sorry, I'm uncertain if I'm missing something and really hope you can find out more thoroughly..

Moon, please don't feel the need to apologize-- I appreciate you taking the time to look at this, regardless.
I actually noticed something, that might contribute, although I'm more versed in synastry and composite than transits-- we both had transiting moon conj. NN, I'm pretty sure, which may have had to do with emotional shifts and revisiting old wounds.

diobrando13 There might be a very sensitive nature between you both due to the node and Moon. I think the energies are erratic in nature for many and that might make it further sensitive. Which can bring the issue of fear or rash decision to decide to drop the conversation. With Stoika, Todd and others, you might wish to create a thread for them. They may see it and help you much more thoroughly as they are very sharp in these studies. Over at personal readings bbs also you might copy and have your inquiries on both boards. It is kind of quiet lately. I hope you can get more help. I think based on my experience looking at the prog combined and transit charts, really shows the nature of the blending between the two with the outside energy coming to help/hinder.

Ah, yep, that would make sense. Especially on their part, I presume, because they have a Scorpio moon (as opposed to my Libra). Thank you for the advice— I’ll go ahead and do that, and I’d love a tarot reading. I enjoy reading tarot massively myself, but I have heard that having personal purchase + energies can interfere when reading for myself, so an outside view would help. IP: Logged |

Hey, I have had this experience too.My question is what is it that makes you feel they will come back? Could you explain your experience of this? Is it a gut knowing or is it a desire? No matter what happens I would try to get to a place of non attachment. If you need to go through the desire issue, need to cry or lash out (rage rooms come to mind) or whatever way (hopefully healthy) you need to find closure within yourself that is the only way to come to clarity. If they come back after you embrace this closure then there might be something deeper going on between you two. If that occurs please come back so we can discuss the nature of their reluctance more. Kindred spirit!
It would be ignorant of me to not admit that there is some desire in it. However, as time passes and I can see things more objectively, there is, and has been, a gut feeling. (I’m very close to my mother, and she claimed separately that she had this feeling, too). So who knows.
Thank you for the advice I think complete closure is the goal, regardless of what happens, so I appreciate it.
