Let’s take Moon opposite Venus in synastry: when Moon is emotional, does that mean that Venus feels unactivated — like a see saw? Venus doesn’t feel very Venusian when Moon is all moony and emo?

Or is it activating — eg: when Venus is feeling sexy romantic relationships on her mind, does it transfer energy to Moon to start getting in Moon feelings?

Or is it an actual see saw where Moon feels a bit cold, empty, nothing emotional when Venus is 💃🏻?

Does it mean that the way Venus loves is the opposite of Moon’s ideal, and that the way Moon feels inside is the opposite of what Venus finds attractive?

Y’all I’m stumped here 😟 How does this work?

With Cap-Can opp for instance (whether between Ven/Moon or Mars/ Ven etc.) the issue is that one seeks to create fences (Cap) and the other seeks to demolish them(Can).

Cap often demonstrates they care via creating boundaries,structures and rules etc.(This especially when Moon/Ven is there).

Cancer often demonstrates they care via demolishing unconscious or conscious boundaries and rules that inhibit the free flowing exchange of emotions and closeness etc. (This especially when Moon/Ven is there).

So when the two meet up, Cancer will look at Cap and think to themselves "you are too wound up in yourself.You need to break away from the self imposed prison you are in and be free. I will help you " etc.

Whereas Cap( in whatever conversation they are with with Can) will automatically think "You need to construct more boundaries around you. You are too all over the place and lack structure and consistency. I will help you."

So instead of Cap enhancing Cancer's need to emotionally connect. They inhibit it and see it as a "problem". And the same is true of Cap's need to create walls. Cancer destroys it. Seeing it as a huge obstacle in getting along and "uniting" etc.

Both misunderstand each other from the start. And as time goes on, the distance between them becomes clearer because the opposite signs are the FURTHEST from each other(as per the zodiac)on BOTH ends(clockwise and counterclockwise).

So unless there are other factors that bring the two together, separation (either emotionally or physically through distance/divorce) is very probable between these two.

The attraction between opposite signs either by Sun-Moon, Moon/Asc, Mars/Sun or Moon/Mars etc.(and it happens A LOT) is irresistible and magnetic. It seems necessary and even "fated" in many cases.

But the strong attraction to each other can be problematic (over time) if there aren't other factors to help the initial connection.Because ime,opp sign attraction is very strong at the START of the relationship.

But without other contributing factors to help the relationship develop,the same oppositional relationship can be instrumental in the END of that same relationship.

Would also add, that there tends to be a lot of push pull between oppositions, but probably less so between two Yin polarized planets like Moon and Venus. More apparent between a Yin and a Yang Planet, like Venus and Mars or Moon and Mars, and two Yang Planets.

There does tend to be a lot of sweetness, affection, and just generally really liking each other with Moon Venus opposition. It is less "charged" with tension than a lot of other oppositions.

Generally speaking, there does tend to be strong attraction between opposite Sign and/or Planetary energies, but it can also switch to repulsion too. Almost like two magnets, where one suddenly flips from the opposite to same polarity and then suddenly they push apart/repel, rather than attract.

Never was this more apparent to me than with a connection I had where we had two Venus Mars oppositions, wherein with one of those, Mars ruled her Aries Sun and Venus rules my Libra Moon, which are also opposite Signs. (Nor did it help that both of our Mars were conjunct each other's Ascendants, with her Mars the same degree of my Asc, her Venus was in my 8th, her Mars also rules her 8th, etc).

It was the first and only time wherein I experienced intense love and attraction, and then also almost hate/spite in relation to the same person. (She stirred up my shadow like no one ever has to that degree). Despising/hate was an emotion that at the time, I didn't even think I could come close to experiencing anymore, as it had been literally decades since I felt anything like that and the last person who had initiated those kinds of feelings in me, was my abusive, sociopathic step father.

It was quite literally shocking and very eye opening to self, about how much self still has left to regenerate/heal/become more conscious of. Boy, these human bodies and experiences are something else, aren't they?

My mom is a Capricorn Moon my dad is a Cancer Moon

They met at work when dad's shift ended when my mom's shift started. People at work knew he liked my mom because instead of leaving work he would stay back and talk to her.

But they have very independent lives from each other and their own interests from each other.

While they have been married since 1984. I don't want a marriage like theirs. I don't know how to have a marriage like theirs. I do see the love with them sometimes.
