What is your opinion on this synastry? The guy is the red on the outside. He seems quite controlling and abusive. He treats me quite badly and I don’t really understand why.

I don't think the synastry matters, when someone treats you badly. Some people will end up treating any woman badly.

Vradec, great thing you see how he's treats you. I can guarantee it has more to do with him than you. I would not tolerate that treatment - in their mind they think its okay. I have a friend who is aware she can be "mean" if she's close to you. Guess what? She was right - and didn't understand why I kept my distance.

It could be his saturn opposite your mars. Since saturn wants to restrict and control and mars is action. It would be different if the aspect was a trine or a sextile, you would be more willing to compromise. But with the opposition you may feel kind of trapped.

I’m trying to get away - it’s very difficult. I’m starting to think evasive/avoidant tactics may be best. Thank you so much for your insight - what is the affect of that 8h moon afflicted my Mars?

Yes, birth times are accurate for both. It is a romantic relationship but I’m trying to get out of it.
