composite

I find the DW Venus-Node aspects in the synastry interesting, plus my AC is right on their MC. I feel they are a soulmate. In the composite, we have this great 8th house stellium... but it's squared by Saturn, Neptune, and Uranus in the 5th? Forming a T-square with Chiron in the 11th.

This person also happens to have the same sun/moon as my mother who recently passed (and who also had her NN on my moon/Venus, but in Aries), so I find that a bizarre synchronicity. The way they live and present themselves has caused me to wake up and reevaluate my own self-presentation in the world (their MC on my AC?). I wonder what skipped step is represented by their Venus/Mercury square to my nodes? And what do I have to teach them (my moon/Venus on their NN)? Perhaps their ghosting indicates they are not ready whatever nodal lesson I represent. More likely, they just don’t like me that way… I have been coping with a lot of rejection lately, both that I receive and having to reject others even when I don't want to, due to my own issues. I know I'm not in a healthy place to connect with other people right now.

I've been studying charts for years and I know of one couple who had a DW NN-Venus conjunction AND a DW NN-Jupiter conjunction.

They were born 3 days apart and both had Venus conjunct NN natally. First loves to make a long story short. We all went to the same high school. The guy went to prison either right before we graduated or shortly after which I think contributed to their break up. From what I can tell, they both have moved on but still keep minimal contact through social media. A few liked posts and follows, but nothing major...

The guy seems to be in a 'light' love affair with a Scorpio we went to school with. Her Venus conjuncts his NN almost exact and she is head over heels (as least from what i can see). He hasn't really shown much on his end as of yet.

So it seems like there always has to be more to the overall synastry. Venus-NN alone is not enough to keep two people smitten and in love forever. I've read it definitely means you two were meant to come together for creative and/ or social/ romantic reasons, but whether it will be long-lasting and sustainable, depends on other aspects.

Typically I look at mutual activation of Desc/7th House and factors to see how probable or not any lasting connection will tend to be.

If Saturn and/or Uranus is involved, though, this can argue against it. Cayce called Saturn that of sudden change of a testing nature (and ascribed to it a materialistic "grass is always greener on the other side" mentality). In this work, Saturn is rarely "stable", but more Shiva like. (which I've often found true in observation/practice). Uranus of course is known for disruptions, false starts, extremes, etc. Uranus can be involved in those situations that are constantly off and on again.

I don't have the energy currently to do a deep dive into the actual charts, but wanted to give some pointers. But I can see why you're strongly attracted to him. He mirrors/fulfills your 5th, 7th, and Mars pretty strongly, and he captures your Sun in his 8th. You really have a thing for Pluto, Scorpio, and/or 8th as these are repeating patterns in your Natal that relate to relationships, romance/attraction, etc. For some examples, the faster moving ruler of your Desc is in the 8th. Scorpio on 5th with Scorp Pluto in 5th. Taurus Sun opposed Scorp Pluto (I think?).

Thank you Randall... I'm still curious about this square to the 8th house stellium. Does anyone have any insight?

This is an interesting composite, especially considering the context you provided. Rejection/ghosting sucks no matter who it is, but especially if it feels significant, as nodal connections do. However, it seems like this composite would play out exactly as you described.

Clearly this encounter stirred a deep, psychological response in you (8H stellium), especially with the similarities between him and your mother. However, the 5H stellium shows issues with a relationship fleshing out. 5H Saturn opposite 11H Chiron seems to prevent any real relationship-- romantic (5H) or friendship (11H)- from fully developing due to him ghosting. Uranus and Neptune indicates a sudden, undefined matter. This T-squares into the 8H, causing a less than pleasant feeling of intimacy, rejection/abandonment, your inner demons, etc., etc.

Wow anevolena, thank you. That makes a lot of sense and resonates with what is happening. (And it’s so sad because I believe there’s a lot of potential.) once I started reciprocating they started pulling back, even though they initiated in the first place. We keep going through these text/ghost cycles and I find them hard to read, but I suspect their Pisces/Libra placements make them a bit of a people pleaser afraid to hurt my feelings. But then why did they initiate before? Anyway. My Venus is exactly conjunct their NN. It seems like they are resisting their nodal lessons which I represent?

We actually have mutual Venus/Node contacts, with each of us having a powerful Venus conjunction in our natals:

- My chart ruler, Moon, in OOS conjunction with my Venus
- Their chart ruler, Venus, conjunct their Mercury
- My Venus exactly conjunct their North Node in the 7th
- Their Venus/Mercury square my nodal axis

Besides my Venus, my sun is the same sign as their NN.

Sorry but I took the synastry down in case they’re familiar with LL.

Anyway I’m totally heartbroken (yet again, I don’t know how much more rejection I can take from people, more salt on my core wound that will never heal) but what you say about the composite makes complete sense. Thank you

Help! I reconnected with this person - once again they initiated and then didn't follow up much after we saw each other. With an Aries Mercury like mine, and both Mars and Venus in fire signs, I would think they'd pursue me if they liked me as more than a friend, right? But I also see their Mercury is Rx and their Chiron is in Gemini, so some insecurity around communication is to be expected.

It seems like ultimately, without any good contacts to their 5H, 7H, and 8H rulers (Uranus, Mars, and Venus, respectively), maybe they're not that into me after all, despite my inner planets lighting up their 7H and 8H. Are aspects stronger than overlays?

They're also going through their second waxing Saturn square, so could I just be a lesson to them? Especially with the node stuff... Here's the synastry. (I'll probably remove it at some point.)

[removed] thanks for nothing, everyone

I know they're not perfect but I really think the world of them and I also feel very safe with them, which is so rare for me. All I really want is to get to know them better, but I feel like when I reach out I'm just annoying. Especially with my Mars so close to their moon. I just find them so hard to read.
