What are your thoughts on this synastry? The guy is on the inside and I’m on the inside. He’s 17 years older than me and also lives in a different country. We’ve been very close friends online for about 4 years and will meet in the autumn. Is there good potential for lasting romance looking at this chart?

I was just wondering if anything sticks out in these charts? And what might my stelliums in his 12th and 1st house do? Is his 8th house Pluto something for concern? He’s also into some quite out there sexual stuff I hadn’t even knew existed, lol.

Based on the age and location gap, I immediately looked for a Venus-Uranus square, and yep, there it is. This makes the relationship sexy and exiting but typically only for a short amount of time. Due to the unconventional nature of the relationship, it seems spicy and interesting, but that “taboo” factor will only carry the relationship so far. You may find that if you enter a committed relationship with him, it gets stale very fast.

Additionally, I saw your Venus is on his Ascendant and his Neptune is on yours. With this combination, you may seem to think he is your Ideal Guy, Mr. Perfect, but Neptune has a way of making us see only what we want to see. Make sure you are aware of his real qualities and are not attracted to his potential. Plus, him loading your 12H makes me believe this might not withstand the test of time.

Unsolicited advice— there are many fish in the sea and as sexy as he may seem, you will most likely be much happier in a relationship with someone closer to your age, in an area near you.

That being said, Venus/NN conjunct Venus is a nice touch, and with your Saturn involved you may be serious about it before he is. The Grand Trine with his Sun, Moon and your Jupiter is also nice. That will lead to pleasant and good times but not necessarily long term commitment. Your Venus Trine his Mars tends towards sexual attraction.
